Description
The liquefied gas containers used up to now for propane, butane, etc. have the great disadvantage for the user that the end of the liquefied Gases can only be determined by reweighing and in cases with no residue Utilization of the container contents, operational difficulties as a result of a sudden end of the gas, which can have a very negative effect on operation.
. By installing a reserve tank, welded together from two parts, in the actual liquid gas tank, with a valve to be operated on the tank foot, the aforementioned deficiencies will be eliminated in the future, to make life easier for all liquid gas consumers.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing explained.
After removing the cylinder base, the reserve container with valve can be installed in the container i that has already been used, in compliance with the relevant safety regulations. The size of the reserve container 2 depends on the size of the container for liquefied gases. It is manufactured from the same material as the liquid gas container, tested and built into the container base. The installation out of the middle ensures that the reserve tank is in an inclined position so that it can be automatically vented during filling, provided that the valve has been opened, and can be refilled from the tank. The valve body 3 is screwed tightly from below into the reserve container through the conical thread cut in one piece. From the head of the valve body some holes lead through the above. an annular recess are connected to each other and through which, with the valve open and the corresponding height of the liquid gas level in the container, the liquid gas passes through the deeper holes b into the reserve container. Any gas that may still be present escapes through the higher-lying holes a when filling liquid gas. Since, # valve 4 consists of four parts (valve stem, valve plate with pressed material insert and lock nut to secure the screwed on valve plate) and is pressed onto its seat by the spring 5, which rests on the base plates 6 , with the lower, arched part of the valve stem with its curvature reaches up to the tightly built-in steel diaphragms 7 . By the pressure piece 8, which receives the plunger 9 with its strong part, the membranes 7 are pressed tightly on their seat. The valve body is closed at the bottom by the end piece and the pressure piece 8 is secured in its sealing position at the same time. The valve operating lever ii is movably connected to its retaining ring 12 by a hinge and can easily and quickly move from the "closed" position (reserve container switched off) into the "open" position (filling and operating position for the reserve container) and set in the bottle base 14. By lifting and fixing the valve operating lever ii, from the "closed" position to the "open" position, the plunger is pressed upwards against the diaphragms, which then bend accordingly, and after overcoming the force of the spring5, the valve14 is moved from its S .Üz lifted and opened. ' If the gas pressure in the reserve tank rises above normal as a result of any special circumstances, e.g. B. excessive heating of the reserve tank from the outside, in the plug 15 built-in washer is pushed through.
