Die Erfindung betrifft Rohrelemente aus Edelstahl zum Erstellen von doppelwandigen Schornsteinen sowie von ein- und doppelwandigen Abgas- und Abdampfleitungen in Elementbauweise, deren Enden Kupplungsteile einer Rohrkupplung bilden, wobei das eine Ende der Rohrelemente als Kupplungsmuffe und das andere Ende der Rohrelemente als Einsteckende ausgebildet ist.The invention relates to pipe elements made of stainless steel for the construction of double-walled chimneys as well as single- and double-walled exhaust gas and exhaust steam pipes in modular construction, the ends of which form coupling parts of a pipe coupling, whereby one end of the pipe elements is designed as a coupling sleeve and the other end of the pipe elements is designed as a spigot end.

Die mit der Brennwerttechnik entwickelten, vorzugsweise mit Gas und Öl betriebenen Brennwertkessel erbringen durch die teilweise Nutzung der Kondensationswärme des bei der Verbrennung gebildeten Wasserdampfes und durch die fast vollständige Ausschöpfung der fühlbaren Wärme, d.h. der herkömmlichen Abgasverluste, einen erheblichen Energiegewinn gegenüber den konventionellen Heizkesseln. Die mit der Brennwerttechnik betriebene Nutzung der Abgaswärme führt zu einer Reduzierung der Abgastemperatüren auf bis zu 40° C, die im Vergleich mit den bei 160 - 180° C liegenden Abgastemperaturen herkömmlicher Heizkessel wesentlich niedriger sind. Mit der Unterschreitung des Taupunktbereiches bei den Abgasen von Brennwertkesseln tritt das Problem der verstärkten Kondensatbildung auf. In den unter überdruck stehenden Abgasleitungen von mit Kohle und öl betriebenen Brennwert-Heiz- und Verbrennungsanlagen fällt schweflige Säure an, die eine verstärkte Korrosionsbeanspruchung der Abgasleitungen bedingt.The legal environmental protection regulations, which limit the permissible emission of pollutants, in particular carbon dioxide and sulphur, into the atmosphere by combustion systems running on coal, gas and mineral oil to a minimum, have led to the development of new combustion technologies and corresponding combustion units. Bei Schornsteinen sowie Abgas- und Abdampfleitungen, die mit den auf dem Markt angebotenen Edelstahl-Rohrelementen der gattungsgemäßen Art erstellt werden, besteht die Gefahr, daß die Rohrelemente im Bereich der Rohrkupplungen unter Einwirkung der sich in dem Ringspalt zwischen dem Muffenende eines Rohrelementes und dem Einsteckende eines zweiten Rohrelementes sammelnden schwefligen Säure, die sich aus dem Wasser des kondensierenden Wasserdampfes und Schwefelanteilen aus dem Abgas bildet, nach verhältnismäßig kurzer Betriebsdauer durchkorrodieren. Dies gilt im besonderen für waagrecht verlegte Leitungen wegen der Kapillarwirkung des Ringspaltes zwischen Muffenende und Einsteckende der Rohrkupplungen.
