Die Erfindung betrifft einen Koffer, dessen Umfangswände durch eine auf ihren Außenflächen haftende gemeinsame Außenkaschierung miteinander verbunden sind.The invention relates to a case whose peripheral walls are connected to one another by a common outer lamination adhered to their outer surfaces.

Bisher wurden derartige Koffer, insbesondere aus Aluminiumprofilschienen mit dazwischen eingesetzten Umfangswänden und Boden- und Deckelplatten gebildete Koffer, so hergestellt, daß man Schmalseiten der Umfangswände mit Gehrungsschnitten versah, dann die Umfangswände mit ihren Außenflächen ein Band aus Außenkaschierungsmaterial klebte, so daß die Spitzkanten der Gehrungsschnitte benachbarter Umfangswände einander berührten. Dann wurden die an der Außenkaschierung haftenden Umfangswände zum Ring geschlossen und in eine U-Nut einer der Boden- bzw. Deckelplatte einfassenden Aluprofilschiene gesteckt und dort verstemmt. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, daß sich 90°-Schnitte sehr viel einfacher mit großer Präzision herstellen lassen als Gehrungsschnitte. Bei ungenauem Gehrungsschnitt steht beim fertigen Koffer eine spitze Kante des einen Gehrungsschnitts der einen Umfangswand über die der anderen vor, so daß die um die Kante laufende Außenkaschierung von innen heraus geschwächt wird und bisher ein gewisser Produktionsausschuß unvermeidbar war.This measure allows you to use peripheral wall panels, the front sides of which are cut at an angle to the plane of the peripheral wall. Außer den Verklebungen der Wände und Deckel- und Bodenplatte in den U-Nuten sowie der Umfangswände auf die Außenkaschierung sind bei der Kofferfertigung keine Klebearbeiten erforderlich, so daß die Trockenzeiten während der Herstellung gering sind. Insbesondere erübrigt sich ein nachträgliches Einkleben einer Innenkaschierung in den fertigen Koffer. Durch den Verzicht auf Sicken der Umfangswände und Boden- und Deckelplatte im Bereich der U-Nuten der Profilschienen handelt man sich keine Material-Schwächung ein mit dem gleichzeitigen Vorteil, daß man fertigkaschierte Platten als Ausgangsmaterial verwenden und diese im Stapelschnitt schneiden kann.The peripheral walls are then connected to one another by the external lamination 69 and additionally by the base and edge profile rails.
