Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wasseraufbereitungsvorrichtung für die Wasserbehandlung in Niederdruck-Kreislaufsystemen, wie Flaschenreinigungsmaschinen, Pasteuren und dergleichen, mit einem Treibwassereingang und einem Treibwasserausgang und mit mindestens einer Dosierpumpe zur Förderung von Chemikalien aus einem oder mehrerenThe invention relates to a water treatment device for water treatment in low-pressure circulation systems, such as bottle cleaning machines, pasteurizers and the like, with a motive water inlet and a motive water outlet and with at least one metering pump for conveying chemicals from one or more
Chemical storage containers into a motive water line, which connects the motive water inlet and the motive water outlet.
For example, in bottle cleaning machines or for drinking water treatment, various chemicals, such as chlorine dioxide, are added to the water for disinfection; however, for this application in particular, strict requirements must be placed on the dose of chemicals that enter the water for safety reasons.
In particular, if the chemicals added to the water consist of two or more components, it must also be ensured that the mixing ratio of the various components remains constant within very narrow limits. Chlorine dioxide can serve as an example here: the chlorine dioxide solution that is to be added to the water to be treated is usually prepared from hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite in a chlorine dioxide reactor immediately before addition; it is immediately obvious that neither of the two chemical components may be present in excess.
Auf diese Art wird demUp to now, this problem has been solved by diverting part of the water from the motive water pipe and directing it to an external monitoring sensor, from where it then flows into the drain. In this way, the

Die externe überwachung der in den Wasserkreislauf gelangten Chemikaliendosis birgt zudem die Gefahr, daß bei Inbetriebnahme derWater is constantly being taken from the low-pressure circulation system and must be fed in from another location. This results in significantly increased water consumption, but also a significantly increased need for chemicals. External monitoring of the chemical dose entering the water circuit also poses the risk that when the system is put into operation,
Water treatment device connections may be mixed up or forgotten, with the associated significant safety risks.
Furthermore, in order to increase safety in a water treatment device of this type, especially when chemical components are initially fed separately, it is known to install a pump monitor for each individual dosing pump, which detects any possible non-synchronous functioning of the individual dosing pumps and triggers an alarm. However, such individual pump monitoring is complex and expensive.
Based on this prior art, the invention is based on the object of providing a water treatment device for water treatment in low-pressure circulation systems of the type mentioned at the beginning, with which, while avoiding the outlined disadvantages of the prior art, chemicals can be introduced into the water circuit in a simple manner, whereby the chemical dosage and, if applicable, the mixing ratio of the chemical components are effectively monitored on an ongoing basis.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that a sensor for monitoring the chemical dose entering the water circuit is arranged in a bypass line branched off from the motive water line between the motive water inlet and the motive water outlet and fed back into it, and in that the dosing pumps, the motive water line, the bypass line and a pump control are combined in one housing.
Thus, all functional elements of the water treatment device according to the invention are compactly housed in one and the same housing, which ensures simple assembly and easy handling, eliminates any wiring and thus the risk of incorrect connections, as well as the complex individual pump monitoring, making the water treatment device significantly more cost-effective. In addition, the proposed solution is user-friendly, since all parameters of interest can be seen at a glance.
Aufgrund der verschiedenen Leitungsquerschnitte ergeben sich jedoch beim Wiederzusammenführen der Treibwasserleitung und der Nebenstromleitung Druckunterschiede, die die Funktionsfähigkeit der zurThere are particular advantages if the motive water line contains a differential pressure orifice before the motive water line and the bypass line are rejoined: For technical reasons, the flow through the motive water line must be significantly greater than the flow through the bypass line, since the bypass line only contains a measuring probe, while the motive water serves as a transport medium for the added chemicals in the water circuit. Due to the different line cross-sections, however, when the motive water line and the bypass line are rejoined, pressure differences arise which affect the functionality of the
The differential pressure bend according to the invention compensates for these pressure differences so that the motive water line and the bypass line can be brought back together without any problem. The water that gets into the bypass line is therefore not thrown away after passing the measuring probe, but instead gets back into the water cycle.
A preferred embodiment of the invention has a drain nozzle on the underside of the housing, to which a suction device is connected. This embodiment significantly increases the safety of the water treatment device according to the invention, especially when working with highly volatile chemicals: During operation, the suction device according to the invention is periodically activated, whereby the chemicals or chemical components that have escaped into the housing due to any leaks are sucked out of the housing. If these leaked chemicals are in liquid form, they collect on the underside of the housing and are also sucked out by the suction device.
This suction device conveniently consists of a flushing water pipe into which the drain connection opens. If water flows through this flushing water pipe, it sucks the housing according to the principle of a water jet pump. This solution is structurally simple and effective.
Aufgrund dieses Durchflußmessers läßt sich leicht erkennen, ob die Treibwasserleitung von einer ausreichenden Menge vonPreferably, a flow meter is installed in the motive water line, which is provided with at least one or more limit value contacts. This flow meter makes it easy to see whether the motive water line is supplied with a sufficient amount of
Driving water flows through the system in order to ensure that the water treatment device functions properly. The limit value contacts can be used to trigger an alarm display or an alarm shutdown if the driving water flow is too much or too little.
The pump output can be conveniently controlled using the pump control, depending on the total amount of water to be treated. This function ensures that a rough value for the chemical dosage is achieved from the outset, for example when adding fresh water to the water circuit. Monitoring the chemical dosage using the sensor according to the invention then only serves to finely regulate the chemical dosage.
If the pump control is connected at least to the flow meter and the sensor for the safety shutdown of the dosing pump or dosing pumps and simultaneous fault reporting, a safety shutdown is advantageously carried out whenever the amount of motive water flowing through the motive water line leaves a specified range, in particular when too little or no motive water flows, or when the sensor reports a chemical dose in the water circuit that is too low, but in particular too high. A display element can be provided on the housing to indicate such a safety shutdown.
Um eine zu schnelle Reaktion derTo avoid a too rapid reaction of the
Wasseraufbereitungsvorrichtung auf eine zu niedrige Chemikaliendosis im Wasserkreislauf zu vermeiden, kann eine Alarmzeit, nach deren Ablauf die PumpensteuerungTo avoid a water treatment device setting too low a chemical dose in the water circuit, an alarm time can be set, after which the pump control
abschaltet, an der Pumpensteuerung vorgebbar sein, wobei ein Anzeigeelement zum Anzeigen des Alarmzeitablaufs und der Abschaltung am Gehäuse angebracht ist:switches off, can be specified on the pump control, with a display element for displaying the alarm timeout and switch-off being attached to the housing:
If the measured chemical dose in the water circuit increases within the alarm time, no safety shutdown occurs. However, if the alarm time has expired without the measured chemical dose exceeding a preset minimum value, the water treatment device is switched off and the fault is displayed.
Further advantages arise when level measuring devices are installed in the chemical storage tanks, which send a signal to a display element on the housing when a predetermined lower limit of the level is reached. This means that the operator of the water treatment device is warned in good time that the chemical storage tank is empty and can prevent the water treatment device from being switched off by exchanging the chemical storage tanks in good time.
Particularly preferred is the embodiment of the invention in which two different chemicals are pumped from two separate chemical storage containers into the motive water line via a metering pump, whereby the metering pump is a double bellows pump with a synchronous pump stroke. This embodiment eliminates the need for technically complex synchronization of two different pumps.

Hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite, which are pumped via the double bellows pump into a chlorine dioxide reactor, where they react with each other and ultimately reach the motive water line as a chlorine dioxide solution. In this embodiment of the invention, it offers particular advantages if the sensor according to the invention is a redox potential measuring device, since the redox value of the water in the water circuit can be used to determine the chlorine dioxide dose in the water. Alternatively, it is also possible for the sensor to be a chlorine dioxide content detector.
Further advantages and special features of the invention emerge from the embodiment described in more detail below and shown in the drawings.

Frischwassermenge startet die Pumpensteuerung 8 die Dosierpumpe 3 und gibt somit proportional zur neu, inside which it is sharpened with a chlorine dioxide solution and then fed through the motive water outlet 2 back into the water tank 22, i.e. back into the circuit. Before the chlorine dioxide solution is added to the motive water line 5, a partial flow in the bypass line 6 is passed over the sensor 7, which is a redox single-rod measuring chain, whereby a value for the chlorine dioxide dose present in the water circuit is obtained. Depending on the measured value of the sensor 7, the addition of the chlorine dioxide solution is enabled or blocked. The chlorine dioxide solution is added to the motive water line 5 itself by a dosing pump 3, which is a double-bellows feed pump: The chemical storage containers 4 contain hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride, respectively, and the two chemicals are pumped by the dosing pump 3 via a suction lance 18 into the chlorine dioxide reactor 14, where they react with one another and form the aqueous 2% chlorine dioxide solution. The chlorine dioxide solution is fed to the motive water line 5 by the delivery pressure of the dosing pump 3, depending on the release signal from the monitoring devices. If the magnetic float of the flow meter 13 does not indicate a sufficient flow rate of the motive water, or if the sensor 7 indicates a redox value above a preset limit value, or if one of the level switches 19 indicates an empty
chemical storage tank 4, the pump control 8 is switched off. The pump control 8 is also connected to the contact water meter 20, which records the amount of fresh water inflow 23 that is newly added to the water circuit and reports it to the pump control 8. Depending on this fresh water amount, the pump control 8 starts the dosing pump 3 and thus releases the new amount of fresh water proportionally.
The chlorine dioxide solution is added to the motive water in proportion to the amount of fresh water. This dosage is selected so that a concentration of approx. 0.3 to 1.0 ppm chlorine dioxide is obtained, as is required for the treatment of water for cold water zones 24 of bottle cleaning machines.
An additional safety feature for operators is provided by the drain connection 11, which is attached to the underside of the housing 9 and opens into a flushing water line 12: The valve 16 is periodically opened so that flushing water flows through the flushing water line 12. Due to the water jet pump effect and with the help of the housing ventilation 15, the housing 9 is cleaned of gases and liquids that have collected at the bottom of the housing 9. The sucked-in liquids and gases pass into the drain channel 17 with the flushing water.
Hinter dem Treibwassereingang 1 wird noch vor der Chlordioxid-Impfstelle 26 in die Nebenstromleitung 6 ein Nebenstrom abgezweigt, der über den Sensor 7, der eine Redox-Einstabmeßkette ist, geleitet wird und somit zur ErfassungFigure 2 shows a detailed view of a water treatment device according to the invention, which is combined in the housing 9 except for the motive water inlet 1 and the motive water outlet 2: The chemicals hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite pass from the suction lance connections 25 via the metering pump 3, which is designed as a double bellows pump, into the chlorine dioxide reactor 14, where the 2% aqueous chlorine dioxide solution is produced. This chlorine dioxide solution passes at the chlorine dioxide injection point 26 into the motive water line 5, which connects the motive water inlet 1 and the motive water outlet 2. Behind the motive water inlet 1, before the chlorine dioxide injection point 26, a secondary flow is branched off into the secondary flow line 6, which is passed through the sensor 7, which is a redox single-rod measuring chain, and is thus used to detect

der schon vorhandenen Chlordioxidkonzentration im Wasserkreislauf dient.the already existing chlorine dioxide concentration in the water cycle.
The bypass line 6 rejoins the motive water line 5 before the motive water outlet 2, so that no water is lost. To enable trouble-free rejoining, the different pressures of the water from the bypass line 6 and the motive water line 5, which result from the different flow cross-sections, are balanced out by the differential pressure orifice 10. The flow meter 13 is also shown in the motive water line 5.
The periodic suction of any gases and liquids that may have escaped is carried out, in conjunction with the housing ventilation 15, through the drain connection 11, which opens into the flushing water line 12: If the valve 16 is opened, flushing water is led from the water connection 28 through the flushing water line 12 into the drain channel 17, whereby the housing 9 is suctioned. As a result, any liquid accumulations inside the housing 9 are also strongly diluted with water and safely drained into the drain channel 17.
Die Niveauschalter 19 dürfenThe pump control (not shown here) activates the dosing pump 3 when the bottle cleaning machine is running only when the contact water meter 20 has requested chlorine dioxide solution by sending a pulse and the following safety criteria are met: 1. The flow meter 13 must report a sufficient amount of driving water; 2. The sensor 7 must not report a value above the limit value for the redox potential; 3. The level switches 19 must not
dargestellten, Frontplatte abzulesen.do not indicate too low a chemical level and 4. The
The set alarm time, which begins when the lower limit for the redox potential is undershot, must not have expired. All current operating states of the water treatment device are shown on their
shown front panel.
