Die Schwierigkeiten bei der Führung des Stromzuführungskabels sind seit langem bekannt. Insbesondere ist es unangenehm, wenn das Stromzuführungskabeil teilweise auf einem Bügelstück aufliegt und durch die Bewegung des Bügeleisens dessen Lage verändert, so daß Störungen beim Bügeln unvermeidlich sind. Um dies zu vermeiden, behilft man sich zumeist dadurch, daß das Stromzuführungskabel von oben her zugeführt wird, entweder - zumeist im professionellen Bügelbetrieb - aus einer Kabelleiste mit Steckdose oder dergleichen an der Decke des Bügelraumes oder durch eine an dem Bügelbrett befestigbare Aufhängung.
