Die im Praxisfall verwendeten Messingübergänge sind von ihrer Länge her zu kurz,um die galvanischen Ströme abzubauen. Eine Erdung mit Geräteüberbrückung durfte nicht vergessen werden. Zudem arbeiten herkömmliche magnetische Kalkwandler bei einem Betriebsdruck von 5 Bar wegen der hohen Abdriftgeschwindigkeit der Ionen.Ist der Leitungsdruck geringer,so verlieren die Ionen ihre Geschwindigkeit und werden von einem kurzen Magnetfeld nicht immer erfaßt.Dementsprechend verringert sich auch die Leistung der KalkwandlerThe principle of magnetic lime conversion is based on a magnetic field whose field lines run across the water path (Lorenz force, separation of cations and anions).
