Der Gewehrspaten ist zur Anbringung am Gewehrkolben eingerichtet. Derselbe ist aus Gufsstahl und einem Stück angefertigt und herzförmig gestaltet. Das Blatt ist flach, 17,5 cm lang und oben eben so breit. Es besitzt oben einen starken Hals a, welcher unter Bildung eines Absatzes in einen 8 cm langen Stiel b von quadratischem Querschnitt übergeht.The rifle spade is set up for attachment to the rifle butt.
