Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Flüssigkeit für den Einsatz in zerspanenden Werkzeugmaschinen. Derartige Flüssigkeiten sollen sich gleichzeitig insbesondere durch eine gute Wärmeleitfähigkeit, guten Korrosionsschutz, guten Verschleißschutz, gute Alterungsbeständigkeit, hohen Viskositätsindex, optimale Schwerentflammbarkeit sowie physiologische und ökologische Verträglichkeit für Mensch und Umwelt auszeichnen. Bekannte Mineralöle, welche bisher als Zerspanungsflüssigkeit eingesetzt werden, können diesen Anforderungen in verschiedener Hinsicht nur teilweise genügen.The invention relates to a fluid for use in cutting machine tools. Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es daher, eine Zerspanungsflüssigkeit vorzuschlagen, mit welcher die angestrebten Anforderungen in besserer Weise erzielt werden können. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß mit einer Multifunktionsflüssigkeit nach Anspruch 1 gelöst. Diese synthetische, transparente Flüssigkeit hat gegenüber Mineralölen eine um etwa 50% höhere Wärmeleitfähigkeit, verbunden mit einem sehr guten Korrosionsschutzvermögen in Flüssigkeits- und Dampfphase, gutem Verschleißschutz, sehr guter Alterungsbeständigkeit und einen sehr hohen Viskositätsindex (von etwa 160). Die erfindungsgemäße Zerspanungsflüssigkeit unterliegt nicht der Bildung von Bakterien, Hefen und Pilzen, es besteht keine Wassergefährdung (WGK 0) und eine gute biologische Abbaubar— keit (ca. 70% in 21 Tagen). Die erfindungsgemäße synthetische, transparente Zerspanungsflüssigkeit ist ferner physiologisch unbedenklich. Die Toxizität der Aerosole ist unbedenklich und es entstehen keine gesundheitsschädlichen thermischen Zersetzungsprodukte. Es besteht ferner eine optimale Schwerentflammbarkeit.
