Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Vorpressen von Dichtungselementen insbesondere von Stopfbuchspackungen aus geflochtenen Garnen von Absperr- und Regelarmaturen sowie von Pumpenwellen.The invention relates to a device for pre-pressing sealing elements, in particular stuffing box packings made of braided yarns of shut-off and control valves as well as of pump shafts.
In der Praxis hat es sich gezeigt, daß die in die Stopfbuchse eingelegten Packungsringe durch die Stopfbuchsbrille häufig sehr unterschiedlich gepreßt werden. Dabei werden die im Stopfbuchsgrund liegenden Packungsringe zu wenig gepreßt. Korrosionsablagerungen am Innenmantel der Stopfbuchse verstärken dabei noch diesen Effekt. Dies hat den Nachteil, daß nur ein Teil der Pakkungsringe an der Dichtarbeit beteiligt ist. Die Folge davon ist, daß die dichtenden Packungsringe schneller verschlissen werden und somit die Stopfbuchsbrille häufiger nachgezogen werden muß. Ein Einlaufen der Ventilspindel im dichtenden Bereich kann ebenfalls als Folge davon gesehen werden.In practice, it has been shown that the packing rings inserted into the stuffing box are often pressed very differently by the stuffing box gland. In der Figur 1 ist die zweigeteilte Montagebuchse 1 in eine Stopfbuchse eingelegt. Jeweils nach dem Einlegen eines Pakkungsringes wird durch die zweigeteilte Montagebuchse die gesamte Packung und insbesondere der zuletzt eingelegte Pakkungsring vorgepreßt. Die Vorpreßkraft wird durch die Stehbolzen auf die Stopfbuchsbrille 2 und damit auf die Montagebuchse 1 übertragen. Können die nachfolgend eingelegten Packungsringe bereits durch die Stopfbuchsbrille vorgepreßt werden, wird ohne Montagebuchse weitergearbeitet.In Figure 1, the two-part assembly bushing 1 is inserted into a stuffing box.
