Bei dem vorliegenden Trocken-Abort wird die vollständige Beseitigung übler Gerüche durch folgende Mittel angestrebt. Erstens wird eine Absperrung vom Hohlraum des Fangtrichters gegen diesen Sammelraum durch eine mit dem Deckel derart gekuppelte Klappe bewirkt, dafs dieselbe beim Uebergang des Deckels aus der Offenstellung in die Schlufsstellung, also Stellungen, bei welchen beiden diese Klappe geschlossen sein mufs, des Fallenlassens vom Unrath wegen selbstthätig auf einen Augenblick geöffnet wird.
