Diese Gummi-Unterlagen haben vor allen bis jetzt in Verwendung gekommenen den Vorzug,
dafs dieselben vermöge ihrer Construction, zwischen das Hufeisen und den Huf des Pferdes
ohne Hülfe eines Instruments jederzeit beliebig eingelegt oder entfernt werden können, ohne

Bei dem Einlegen der Gummi-Unterlagen wird zuerst der, an dem Zehentheil der Gummi-Unterlage
befindliche Blecheinsatz Unter das. Hufeisen gelegt; die Schenkelenden der Gummi-Unterlage
werden durch Zusammendrücken mit der Hand in ihrer natürlichen Breite ca. 20 mm reducirt, und dadurch die an der Aufsenseite
der Schenkelenden sich befindlichen Blecheinsätze ebenfalls unter das Hufeisen geführt. Durch die
drei, vorne und an den Seiten befindlichen Blecheinsätze, welche zwischen den Huf des
Pferdes und das Hufeisen zu liegen kommen und durch die Elasticität des Gummis wird die
