Das Princip, behufs Entleerung eines Wassergefäfses einen Heber dadurch in Thätigkeit zu setzen, dafs man den Heberbogen oder -Scheitel unter Wasser taucht, ist an sich bekannt; seine Ausführung stöfst bei Abort-Spülkasten auf mancherlei praktische Schwierigkeiten, wie die bisher bekannt gewordenen Coiistructionen solcher Spülkasten erkennen lassen.
