Method and device for sorting bristles, hair, fibers
and the like according to length In the known. Length plucking machines must remove the bristles, etc.
be neatly pierced at one end before using pliers or rotating
Rolls plucked lengthways «can be grounded. This burping takes a lot of effort
and skill, and yet the machines built for this do not work
to the satisfaction of the dressmakers.
Borsten in, Zupfkämme eingespart. In the method according to the invention, these deficiencies are eliminated by
that from unopened bristles, etc., which can therefore be warped, by means of a
Plucking device, e.g. B. pliers, the bristles briefly and pulled out. be .., in
this state then with the other end to the actual plucking rollers
or pliers brought in and pulled out of one of the pliers lengthways
will. It. So the burping of the bristles etc. and the insertion of the broken open
Bristles in, plucking combs saved.

vorstehenden
In the embodiment according to FIGS. I to 3, bristles i in
Holding organs placed, the z. B. can consist of strips or straps 2. the
above
The bristles are briefly grasped with pliers 3 and pulled out. The pliers move
while rotating at the same time by means of a bearing axis 3a in bearings 3b
in the direction of arrow A until it comes to a position (Fig. i b) where the extended
and held bristles in the area of another plucking organ, here by plucking rollers
¢ and 5, arrive. By this in a known manner the. individual lengths
plucked the pliers 3, which are now used as holding means, and placed in a known tray 6,
which is expediently subdivided, inserted.
In Figs. 4 to 6, an embodiment is shown in which the
The bristles are pulled out by means of conveyor belts instead of a pair of pliers.
Seitlich zu dieser Haltevorrichtung laufen Transportbänder i i
angeordnet.
The bristles i are, voai hand or mechanically (by rectifier)
placed on conveyor belts 8 and taken up by a conveyor belt 9 in such a way that
the bristles etc. taken along under the conveyor belt 9 and on a slide io
be moved smoothly. Conveyor belt 9 and slide io serve as a holding device
for the bristles. Conveyor belts i i run to the side of this holding device
also on chutes 12, where, with the bristle ends between, band i i and chute
12 can be clamped and taken along. Due to the angular position of the bands i and i
Slide 12 will be the from. this captured bristles from the conveyor belt 9 and the.
Slide io pulled out and through the belts i i via slide 12 also on plucking rollers
4, 5 promoted. The transport belts i i and chutes 12 are gradually twisted by 90 °
arranged. Therefore, the short bristles hang towards the end of the barrel
vertically above the plucking rollers 4, 5, during transport over the rollers:
slowly brought this closer and plucked to length: the bristles that were not drawn out
are by -passing 13 and the return of the conveyor belt. 9 again
the belt 8 placed and thereby the conveyor belts. i i and the slide 12 again
newly fed. The Tran.spoetbands 1 i with the slide 12 are on their idlers
i i "in their distance from the conveyor belt 9 and the slide io adjustable, like
indicated by the arrows B, and also during the: run so movable that
at times the shorter and at times the longer bristles are pulled, whereby
Of course, every conveyor belt works in a certain area, as shown in Fig.
5 can be seen. A small pair of plucking rollers 14 is at the beginning of the holding and transport device
9, io also provided adjustable in the direction of arrows C, previously the
Excessive lengths extend, so that within certain limits a straight bristle strip on the edge
is achieved. Because the transport belts i i and slide 12 to each other so
are set that the drawn out, bristles of. this is only briefly recorded
is also a really flawless plucking when it comes to the subsequent length plucking
secured according to length. The holding and transport device is a matter of course
for the bristles not limited to a slide and conveyor belt, but these
Device can also consist of two superimposed and by rolling in accordingly
consistently spaced bands.
