B) Description

It is known that for cladding walls and ceilings, conventional elements (e.g. battens, strips, etc.) are installed and then connected to panels, wooden strips - often so-called profile boards - or similar materials by means of nails, screws, etc.

However, it is necessary to permanently connect the cladding items to the rail underneath. This means that easy removal of individual parts - e.g. to reach the underlying wall, ceiling, replace a part, etc. - is not possible after the entire cladding has been installed, or is only possible by removing the entire cladding.

C) Problem

The invention specified in the patent claim is based on the problem of developing a fastening method that can also be easily removed for the individual panel part.

D) Problem solving

With the invention described, it is now possible to remove all or individual cladding parts from the overall cladding without causing any damage and to reinstall them.

This has the advantage that certain places behind the panel can be reached easily or individual parts can be replaced - for example due to damage etc. - without having to completely remove all parts.

This also means that once the panels have been installed, they can be removed in just a few steps and reused elsewhere if necessary.

E) Description and method of use

This is followed by a detailed description of the three fastening features (rail, holder, clip) and then an example of how to use it:

1. Rail:

The rail is a box profile that is open on one side (1.1) and serves as a holder and clip holder. The legs of the open profile are continuously serrated (1.2; see section Z). To attach the rail, there are holes (1.3) on the closed side of the box profile. The rail is attached to the ceiling, wall, etc. by screwing. The rectangular openings on the legs (1.4) are used for clip attachment and for ventilation.

2. Holder:

The holder serves two functions:

- as a holder and support for the element "b" to be fastened (see section G-H);

- for blocking or as a sliding brake. The locking pin (2.3) prevents the part to be installed from slipping or moving in one direction.

The locking and unlocking pin area (2.1) is designed in such a way that when the two rear ends (unlocking fork, 2.2) are pressed together, the locking pin jumps out of the teeth, removes the blockage and thus allows the part to be installed to be moved or the holder to be removed and the panel element to be dismantled quickly and easily.

3. Retaining clip:

The clip is used to attach add-on parts that cannot be attached using the holder. It has a flat support surface that is screwed to the element to be attached. Angled legs (3.2) are attached to this surface on the left and right. Due to their design, these legs are spring-loaded and create a locking effect when inserted into the opening provided for this purpose in the rail on the side (1.4) and into the toothed opening (1.2).

II. Construction status

This system can be used anywhere. All types of cladding can be considered as holding elements in the interior and exterior construction area, which otherwise can only be installed (mounted) by gluing, nailing, screwing, etc.

This is explained using the example of a room lining with tongue and groove boards.

The rail is attached to the ceiling or wall "a" using a screw connection (see section G-H). The first tongue and groove board (without tongue) for the ceiling paneling is screwed with one clip per rail (see section E-F) and

then clipped into the tooth opening in the rail (1.2). The following tongue and groove boards (with tongues) are joined together with tongue and groove. For each board, a holder is inserted between the tongue and groove so that each board is held and supported (see section G.H). The holder is pushed forwards towards the front board until it engages with the locking pin (2.2) in the toothing of the rail (1.2) and thus creates a lock (see section G-H). This prevents the board from moving backwards. All other boards are mounted in this way. If the width of the end board has to be reduced due to the space available and it is therefore not possible to attach it due to the missing groove, which is required to accommodate the holder, the assembly is carried out in the same way as the starter board, using the clip.

The wall cladding is done in the same way as the ceiling cladding.

IH. Corner cladding and cladding between wall and ceiling

A trim strip is often required to create a clean finish between the wall and ceiling. The trim strip is attached with clips (similar to the start or end board).

IV. Representation of beam profiles and column cladding

1. Due to the variety of uses, beam profiles can also be displayed.

Four rails are usually required for this. The rails are made in such a way that there are openings (1.4) on the side surfaces. Boards are screwed together with clips as pre-assembly.

a) The first board with the clips is attached to the side opening of the rail.

b) The front board is also attached with clips (right and left) and clipped into the running surface where the teeth are located (1.2).

c) The third profile board is mounted in the same way as the first - only mirrored.

If it is a beam profile that is attached to the ceiling or wall, the rear board would be omitted.

2. If it is a column , the assembly is carried out as for the beam profile, but the rear board is installed in the same way as the front one.
