Die in Fig. 1 der Zeichnung dargestellten und in dem Buch "Ringe reden" von Emma Pressmar, 1991, Seite 158 beschriebenen "Ulmer Carolinenringe" stellen eine einfache ergonomische Grundform für den Ringfinger der linken und rechten Hand dar.
