Abstract

When the frame of a door is constructed from aluminium or plastic profiles which usually have a relatively small cross-section, relatively little space remains for a mortise lock or a tubular-frame lock. Nevertheless, a relatively large bolt extension of, for example, twice 10 mm can be required, that is to say the bolt (5) is preclosed or closed back by means of two revolutions of a key of a lock cylinder (7) and therefore of a locking bit (8). The locking bit (8) must therefore be coupled twice to the bolt or its bolt tail (14) at different points or at points located one behind the other in the preclosing direction (15). For this purpose, the bolt tail (14) possesses a first driving receptacle (16) and a second driving receptacle (17) which is "swung open" only during the first preclosing movement.
