Description
The invention relates to a translucent wall segment for housings and buildings, in particular greenhouses and hothouses.
The wall segments in greenhouses and hothouses are generally made of glass surfaces. The glass allows short-wave (visible) radiation to pass through unhindered, but does not insulate long-wave heat radiation. The existing radiation intensity of the light on site can thus be used with the controllable growth factors of air, heat, moisture and soil for the optimal cultivation and care of plants. The wall segments made of plain or clear glass are, however, easily damaged by glass breakage, especially in bad weather conditions such as hail or storms, and tend to become opaque over the years, which reduces the light transmission. The heavy glass panels also require heavy frames.
The object of the invention is therefore to create a translucent wall segment for housings and buildings that is shatterproof and has sufficient light transmission.
This object is achieved according to the features of claim 1.
This creates a translucent wall segment for housing and buildings that is hail-resistant and wear-resistant, while still having good light transmission. The wall segment is also easy to assemble and requires only a light frame. The arrangement of the pile thread strips and their formation into individual partition walls with pile threads embedded in the resin reduces the number of interfaces in the laminate, which means that diffuse reflection can be kept to a minimum. The coordination of the refractive indices of resin and fiber, especially glass fiber, prevents a change in the direction of propagation of the incident light at the resin/fiber interface. The double-walled hollow structure also improves the thermal insulation properties and allows a temperature control medium to pass through.
The strength and rigidity of the wall segment can be varied by the number and width of the partition walls and the density of the pile threads in the partition walls. The width of a pile thread strip in the warp direction can be 1 to 6 mm, the width of the hollow channels in between can be at least 4 mm, preferably at least 6 mm.
The spacing of the upper and lower fabrics through the pile threads can be at least 3 mm and is preferably in the range between 3 and 15 mm.
Further embodiments of the invention can be found in the following description and the dependent claims.
The invention is explained in more detail below using the embodiment shown in the attached figure.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic cross-section in the warp direction of a section of a translucent wall segment.
Figure 1 shows a section of a wall segment 1 for housing and buildings, in particular greenhouses and hothouses. A housing or building can be constructed entirely or partially from such individual wall segments.
Das Wandsegment 1 besitzt eine doppelwandige Hohlstruktur aus einem durchThe wall segment 1 has a double-walled hollow structure made of a
Textile fabric hardened by resin impregnation. The textile fabric consists of a multi-layered fabric with upper fabric 2 and lower fabric 3, which are connected to one another at a distance by pile threads 4 alternating between them. The upper and lower fabrics 2 and 3 can be woven, knitted, warp-knitted or tufted and the pile threads 4 can be inserted into the upper and lower fabrics 2 and 3 using a weaving or stitching technique.
Here, the textile fabric is formed from an uncut velour fabric, with the upper and lower fabrics 2 and 3 consisting of crossed warp and weft threads in a known manner. The pile threads 4 are each inserted in the warp direction (arrow B) and bound over V-nops or W-nops. Several pile threads 4 inserted next to one another in the weft direction (arrow A) form a pile thread row 5 extending in the weft direction. The pile thread row 5 extends in the form of a line or band in the weft direction. Several such pile thread rows 5 extend at a distance from one another, preferably parallel to one another, in the weft direction, with two adjacent pile thread rows 5 enclosing a pile thread-free hollow channel 6. The number of pile threads 4 placed next to one another in a pile thread row 5 is at least 15 pile threads per cm in the weft direction, preferably 18 to 23 pile threads per cm. This applies to a medium yarn thickness, in particular a yarn thickness of 68 tex. If fine yarns are used, the number of pile threads 4 can be at least 25 pile threads per cm, preferably 32 to 45 pile threads per cm, in particular with a yarn thickness of 34 tex. The width of each pile thread row in the warp direction is then in the range between 2 and 8 mm, preferably 2 to 6 mm. For this purpose, a pile thread 4 preferably changes 1 to 8 times between the upper and lower fabrics 2, 3.
Die Breite der Hohlkanäle 6 in Kettrichtung beträgt mindestens 4 mm, vorzugsweise mindestens 6 mm.The width of the hollow channels 6 in the warp direction is at least 4 mm, preferably at least 6 mm.
The pile threads space the upper and lower fabrics 2 and 3 at least 3 mm apart. Upper and lower fabrics 2 and 3 are preferably spaced 3 to 15 mm apart.
The yarns processed into the textile fabric consist essentially of translucent fibers, in particular glass fibers.
The textile fabric is solidified by impregnation with a hardening resin. The impregnation is carried out in such a way that the pile threads 4 of a pile thread row 5 are completely embedded in the hardened resin, forming partition walls running in the weft direction. These partition walls are preferably closed like walls.
Polymer materials are provided as resins, the refractive indices of which are selected by adding additives to be essentially the same as the refractive index for the fibers of the textile fabric. The fibers are preferably glass fibers, so that the refractive index of the resin is matched to the refractive index of the respective glass of the glass fibers, preferably the same. The embedding of the pile threads 4 of a respective pile thread strip 5 in the resin mass is made easier by the use of resins that exhibit thixotropic behavior. Unsaturated polyester resins or vinyl resins with corresponding additives are provided as resins in particular.
According to a further embodiment of the translucent wall segment (not shown), the hollow channels 6 can be filled with a translucent material. For temporary filling or passage of a tempering medium, the wall segments 1 are closed at the edges individually or in combination with other wall segments 1 and are designed with inlet and outlet devices.
