Wie nun weiterhin gefunden wurde, lassen sich mit mindestens gleich gutem Erfolg auch diejenigen Äther mehrwertiger aliphatischer Alkohole für den angegebenen Zweck verwenden, in denen mehr als eine Hydroxylgruppe mit einem höhermolekularen aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Alkohol veräthert, aber wenigstens noch eine freie Hydroxylgruppe vorhanden ist. Solche Äther sind z. B. Glycerin-a, a'-di-n- oder . -iso-hexyläther, Glycerina, a'-dicyclohexyläther, Pentaerythritdi- oder -trioctyläther, Dipentaerythrit-tetrahexyläther, der Din-butyläther des Trimethylolpropans, der Pentapropyläther des Sorbits u. a. Derartige Verbindungen sind aus der Literatur bekannt und werden in bekannter und üblicher Weise, z. B. aus mehrwertigen aliphatischen Alkoholen bzw. deren Alkalimetallverbindungen und Alkyl- bzw.
