Hierbei bekommt man zwei parallele Schnittflächen,
Artificial sponges Artificial sponges have a wide variety of shapes
given. Cuboid artificial sponges are often in use. This is what you get
by slicing the sponge produced in a larger box shape
the desired thickness. Here you get two parallel cut surfaces,
which differ from the edge surfaces in that they are large-pored and large
absorb or release liquid more easily than that which arises during the manufacturing process
fine-pored edge surfaces. So the fluid absorption capacity is good, the fluid retention capacity
but small, as the liquid is too easy to move perpendicular to the work surface, i.e. through
the other cut surface can emerge again. This makes the work surface drier
and subjected to more wear and tear. In addition, one is forced to use the sponge often
to immerse in the liquid, which is very annoying. Except for the cuboid artificial sponges
one has also made those with a natural, roughly spherical shape.
The surface of these sponges is similar to the edge surface of the box shape
produced sponges fine-pored and also grained. The fluid absorption capacity
is here in relation to that of the cut surface of the box-shaped sponges mentioned above
but less. It has been found that the surface of the nature-like
round sponges is more stressed because of the approximately round shape
of the sponge, the pressure per unit area when working is greater than when working
flat work surface.
an, was die Handhabung erleichtert. It was found nine that the disadvantages that the described artificial sponges
should be avoided by giving the sponge a very specific shape,
in such a way that it represents a spherical segment, its spherical cap
fine-pored
and grained and whose base is a coarse-pored cut surface. This causes,
that the liquid is easily absorbed and mainly given off again through it
will. At the same time, the fine-pored spherical cap surface allows the liquid to pass through
opposes a resistance, whereby the liquid holding capacity increases very much.
The abrasion is also reduced compared to that of the spherical hood surface, since the pressure
per unit area (here it is distributed over the entire sectional area) a substantial
shows more favorable ratio. In addition, the spherical segment fits the hand shape well
what makes handling easier.
