Elastische Bolzenkupplungen mit elastischen vorspannbaren Hülsen auf den an einer Kupplungshälfte achsparallel befestigten und in die andere Kupplungshälfte eingreifenden Bolzen sind bereits bekannt. Diese Kupplungen sind zwar für Drehzahlen bis zu einer gewissen Höhe ohne weiteres anwendbar; für höhere und höchste Drehzahlen sind sie jedoch infolge der dann auftretenden erheblichen Zentrifugalkräfte nicht mehr geeignet. In derartigen Fällen sind Sonderkonstruktionen erforderlich, die darin bestehen, daß die Bolzen in der zugehörigen, die andere Kupplungshälfte umfassenden Kupplungshälfte zweiseitig gelagert werden.
