Amusement machine with advertising board

The subject of this innovation is an entertainment machine with an advertising board, whereby such entertainment machines are used in a variety of forms. For example, there are so-called pinball machines or video or computer game machines, music machines and the like. This includes machines in which only entertainment value is achieved by inserting money, as well as other machines in which a game of chance or a game of skill takes place by inserting money.

All machines are hereinafter referred to by the general term entertainment machine.

The disadvantage of these entertainment machines is that they practically only advertise themselves, namely they are intended to encourage the user to play on this machine. They therefore only serve decorative purposes and are also intended to encourage the user to play the game on this machine.

The present innovation is based on the task of further developing entertainment machines of the type mentioned above in such a way that their purpose is no longer purely decorative, but that they contain an advertising message.

To solve the problem posed, the innovation is characterized by the technical teaching of claim 1.

Additional labelling fields bearing the above-mentioned advertising message are therefore integrated into the scoreboard and/or the playing field.

The integration of the labeling fields into the scoreboard or the playing field is done in several ways.

In a first embodiment, the labeling field is directly integrated into the display panel and the display panel and the labeling field are manufactured together in one operation.

In a second embodiment, it is provided that the labeling field is subsequently connected to the scoreboard, namely, for example, by gluing it onto the scoreboard, by inserting it behind a panel of the scoreboard or by subsequently printing or spraying the labeling field onto the existing scoreboard or the existing playing field.

The scope of the invention therefore includes all printing technology options for connecting a label field with an advertising message to a scoreboard or a playing field.

In a further development, the labeling field is additionally illuminated, with static lighting or running light lighting being provided.

does not have to be just a printed product, but it can also be a display on which the advertising message to be conveyed is presented in the form of light-emitting diodes, an LCD display or the like.

The labeling field can also be designed as a projection surface of a projection device, i.e. a slide or an electronically generated image is projected onto the labeling surface designed as a projection surface in the area of the scoreboard or the playing field.

A particularly positive effect in conveying the message is achieved when the label fields are integrated directly into the playing field, e.g. of a pinball machine. This has the advantage that the user, who has to observe the playing field very closely, inevitably comes across the label fields attached to or on the playing field, and the advertising message is thus conveyed to him in a striking manner.

Likewise, the entire purpose of the amusement machine can be based on the advertising message. For example, you can play a rally for a famous cigarette brand in a pinball machine in such a way that the various obstacles are labeled with mountain names, city names or river names, for example, and between them the advertising message of this famous cigarette brand always appears.

Another possibility is to design an amusement machine as a car racing game, where a famous car brand appears as an advertising message in the respective label field on the playing field.

The subject matter of the present innovation arises not only from the subject matter of the individual protection claims, but also from the combination of the individual protection claims with one another.

All information and features disclosed in the documents - including the summary - in particular the spatial configuration shown in the drawings are claimed as essential to the invention, insofar as they are new compared to the prior art, individually or in combination.

The innovation is explained in more detail below using a drawing that simply shows one way of implementing it. The drawing and its description reveal further key features and advantages of the innovation.

The illustration shows a perspective front view of an amusement machine in its pinball machine design.

The entertainment machine shown in the illustration is designed as a pinball machine and consists in the conventional manner of a display board 2 which is mounted at an angle - usually vertically - on a pinball table, which in turn contains a playing field 9.

In a conventional manner, the ball introduced into the playing field is shot upwards with the help of the flipper bars 10 and hits certain obstacles 8, which can be used to win points.

According to the new feature, the playing field 9 is now provided with label fields 5, 6, 7, all of which carry an advertising message. The advertising message is shown in the illustration with the

With the innovation shown, the gaming and entertainment purpose of the amusement machine is significantly expanded, because it no longer advertises itself alone, but rather it also advertises another product, which may or may not be directly related to the gaming purpose of the amusement machine.

In this way, it is also possible to hold competitions between different participants using similarly designed entertainment machines, whereby a car race or car rally then takes place.
