According to the invention, this problem is solved according to claim 1) as follows:

Washing machine area:

The washing machine is designed in such a way that it can be easily filled/emptied from a wheelchair - without any additional effort - even by disabled and elderly people.

The centre of the washing machine's porthole should be installed at a reasonable height of between 90 and 100 cm.

The control buttons or rotary switches, as well as the chamber for liquid or non-liquid detergent or fabric softener, should also be easy to operate from a wheelchair. This means that the control instruments are installed to the right or left of the porthole, at a height above or below, possibly offset due to the design.

The lost empty space due to the height difference between the base of the appliance and the tub is used by a laundry/storage trolley mounted on rails that can be pulled out to the front. According to the invention, this laundry/storage trolley is equipped with a double floor. This means that the double floor can be raised or lowered electrically by pressing a button (switch for "up/down" on the front, top edge of the laundry trolley).

Tumble dryer area ;

The dryer is designed in such a way that it can be filled/emptied easily from a wheelchair without any additional effort and also by disabled and elderly people.

The center of the door opening, as well as the washing drum, should be installed at a reasonable height between 90 and 100 cm.

The control buttons or rotary switches, as well as the drawer/collecting tray for condensate should be positioned to the right or left of the dryer door/washing drum, possibly due to the design, up or down. This is the only way to ensure that this appliance can be operated in a wheelchair.

Furthermore, the lost empty space due to the height difference between the base of the appliance and the tub should be used by a laundry/storage trolley mounted on rails that can be pulled out to the front. This laundry/storage trolley is equipped with a double floor. This means that the double floor can be raised or lowered electrically at the push of a button (switch for "up/down" on the front, top edge of the laundry trolley).

In addition, according to the invention, a pull-out or swing-out shelf (made of metal or veneered wood) is installed between the dryer drum and the laundry/storage trolley for household use.

According to the invention (according to claim 1), handling household appliances, washing machines, washer-dryers and tumble dryers is made much easier for a wheelchair user. He is no longer forced to bend sideways over the wheelchair or to bend forwards out of the wheelchair in order to load/empty the aforementioned machines with laundry. Even the laundry/storage trolley can be operated comfortably and effortlessly by a wheelchair user, according to the invention and due to the design, thanks to the switch attached to the top edge of the front.

This invention also makes the work process easier for other disabled people and older people, and makes their laundry day much more comfortable.
