Es handelt sich bei der Erfindung um einen Sackverschluß an Säcken
aus Papier, Gewebe und ähnlichen Stoffen, welche insbesondere zur Aufnahme von hygroskopischem
Füllgut dienen. Bisher waren diese Ventilsäcke (Kreuzbodensäcke) derart ausgebildet,
daß in die Ventilöffnung zwischen dem aus den Bodenklappen gebildeten Sackboden
und dem Eckeinschlag ein Schlauchabschnitt eingefügt und ringsum mit der Sackwandung
verklebt wurde. Die Verklebung wurde dabei so vorgenommen, daß der Schlauchabschnitt
ein Stück nach außen überstand und mit dem Sackbodeneckeinschlag eine Tasche bildete,
in welche das überstehende Ende des Ventilschlauches nach dem Füllvorgang von Hand
eingeschlagen wurde. Slall .erreichte dadurch zwar einen annähernd haltbaren Verschluß,
der jedoch den Nachteil hatte. daß beim Stapeln nicht vollständig gefüllter Säcke
sich der Eckeinschlag nach innen zog und so das umgefaltete Ende des Ventilschlauches
aus der Schließstelle löste. LTm diesem iihelstand zu begegnen, sind mannigfache
Vorschläge gemacht worden, So hat man z. B. das umgeschlagene Ende des Ventilschlauches
verklammert oder auch entsprechend geformte Federn eingelegt. welche das Ende des
Ventilschlauches in seiner Schließlage halten sollten, Alle diese Vorschläge haben
jedoch nicht zum Erfolg geführt, da erhebliche Kosten mit den vorgeschlagenen Maßnahmen
w-erbunden waren. Dies geht auch daraus hervor, daß sich Verschlüsse dieser Art
heute noch nicht in der Praxis durchgesetzt haben. The invention is a sack closure on sacks

Durch die Erfindung wird ein Verschluß in Vorschlag gebracht, welcher
einmal außerordentlich billig und zum andern in seiner Handhabung sehr einfach ist.
In die von dem Ventilschlauch und dem Eckeinschlag gebildete Tasche wird ein passend
hemessener Streifen aus biegsamem Werkstoff eingelegt. zwischen dem und dem Eckeinschlag
sich das üherstehende Ende des Ventilschlauches in einfadister \\reise mit einer
Hand einschlagen läßt, Dabei legen sich die Ecken des überstehenden Endes des Ventilschlauches.
xvelche sonst in zeitraubender ÄVeise von dem Arbeiter mit beiden Händen umfalzt
werden müssen, selbsttätig um. Dadurch wird erreicht. daß sich das um den Pappstreifen
umgeschlagene Ende des Ventilsehlaudies glatt und ohne Querfalten umlegen läßt und
dicht am Pappstreifeii anliegt. Das so sehr gefürchtete selbttätige Öffnen des Ventilschlauches
kann nunmehr nicht mehr eintreten, weil sich der Pappstreifen immer schließend von
unten gegen den Ventilschlauch legt. Bei dem neuen Verschluß ist es nicht mehr wie
bisher erforderlich. den Ventilschlauch in das Sackinnere zu verlängern, um dadurch
eine lippenartigeVerschlußwirkung zu erreichen. Durch die in Auswirkung der Erfindung
ermöglichte Verkürzung des Ventilschlauches ergibt sich der weitere Vorzug, daß
sich die Füllzeiten erheblich verringern, weil das Füllrohr mit der gesamten Füllöffnung
aus dem Ventilschlauch hervortritt und das Füllgut, ohne von der unteren Ventilsackhälfte
hehindert zu werden, austreten kann, Als zusätzliche Sicherung kann außerdem ein
zweiter Pappstreifen nach dem vorbeschriebenen Schließvorgang in die sich bildende
Tasche zwischen dem Sackbodeneckeinschlag und dem umgelegten Ventilschlauchende
