Die nachstehend beschriebene Einrichtung hat zum Zweck, das Brennen der Brenner mit vollem Docht, sogenannte Brenner ohne Lampenglas, zu verbessern. Die Erfindung besteht darin, dafs ein Cylinder C unabhängig von dem Brenner oberhalb der Dochthülse E so angebracht ist, dafs seine untere Fläche 5 sich in gleicher Höhenlage oder besser noch höher wie der zum Brennen aufgeschraubte Docht M befindet, in Verbindung mit einer Röhre T, die in einiger Entfernung die Dochthülse E umgiebt. Der Cylinder C ist in passender Lage und mittelst eines Ringes B aufgehängt und befestigt, welcher Ring mit dem Gehäuse der Laterne verbunden und oben und unten mit Klauen versehen ist. Eine Erweiterung, Bauchung oder Ausweitung R des oberen Endes des Cylinders hält diesen auf dem Ring und bewirkt so die passende Lage des Cylinders oberhalb der Dochthülse. Diese Lage des Cylinders erzeugt an der Basis desselben und an der Entstehungsstelle JV der Flamme einen horizontalen Luftstrom V, der zuerst gegen die Flamme und dann nach oben gerichtet ist und die Flamme bestreicht, wodurch er ein bedeutend besseres Brennen bewirkt und jeden Rauch verhindert.The invention consists in the fact that a cylinder C is attached independently of the burner above the wick sleeve E in such a way that its lower surface 5 is at the same height or better still higher than the wick M screwed on for burning, in connection with a tube T, which surrounds wick sleeve E at some distance.
