j' in
daß in dem Maschinenkörper a zwei gleiche Pumpen spiegelbildähnlich angeordnet sind;
in dieselbe Druckleitung fördern.
Kolben arbeiten. Man kann also
In Abh. 3
Auspuff 2i rechts verbunden. Sobald idie Kugel umsteuert, steuert der Schieber um;
dasselbe !gilt für die andere Kolbenseite.Flywheelless piston pump with tandem arrangement of pump and power pistons The invention relates to a flywheelless piston pump with tandem arrangement of pump and power pistons. According to the invention, two such units with separate feeds for the power medium are installed, installed next to one another in two axes in a single machine housing and connected to a common pressure line for the delivery medium. The invention makes it possible to let the pump operate alternately as a simplex or as a duplex pump, without the need for a control linkage. The switching of the power medium to the two sides of the power piston takes place automatically and heat both power pistons independently of each other with the help of a ball valve, which is moved by the pressure occurring in the power cylinder from its one closed position to its other closed position as soon as the power piston reaches its dead position has or is approaching the same. An embodiment is in @hb. r in the longitudinal section of the pump and in Fig. z in the external view. The standing machine body a has the pump cylinder at the bottom and the power cylinder at the top. The cap b of the pump cylinder is at the same time the suction strainer and the carrier of the suction valve plate 1q. with the metal weight j. The plan view in Fig. Ia of this plate body shows the ribbed circumference, through the gaps in the ribs flows the outside water entering through the cover holes a. When it descends, the pump piston h allows the water that has flowed in to pass through the piston channels i over the piston. A plate ring j closes the channels at the top when the piston goes up, and the water is forced through the non-return plate j 'into the pressure line g. The power piston 1ä in the upper cylinder carries the control elements for the exit of the used compressed air. The entry of the compressed air or the steam pressure is controlled by a simple ball valve e. The outlet control elements are the ball valves 5 on the lower side of the piston and the spindle valves ii on the upper side of the piston, which are held in the open position by spiral springs 9. Numeral 13 shows the exhaust port. The piston has a -wide ring groove 6 in the middle, which transfers the used compressed air to the exhaust. In the drawn position of the power piston, the upper side of the piston is in connection with the exhaust 13. The compressed air entering at the connection point 12 occurs, since the ball valve e closes the duct leading to the upper cylinder part, to the lower side of the piston, closes d'ie ball valves 5 and pushes the piston h upwards. The exhaust air above the piston initially escapes directly through the opening 13 and, after the power piston has passed the opening 13 through the open spindle valves ii and the annular groove 6, as soon as the piston has reached the opening 13 during its upward movement with the annular groove. When the lower edge of the piston has reached the window 13, the remaining medium in the upper cylinder part is compressed so strongly under the influence of the further upward movement of the piston that the pressure that forms becomes greater than the pressure of the medium flowing at the connection point 12. This increase in pressure has the consequence that the ball valve e is pushed off its upper seat and is now pressed onto its lower seat. This closes the lower side of the piston from the incoming compressed air. The piston is now up. The compressed air hits the upper side of the piston, closes the spindle valves ii: and pushes the piston down. In Fig. 2 it is shown that two identical pumps are arranged in a mirror image in the machine body a; which work completely independently of each other in their control and convey the water into the same pressure line. Due to the independence of the control, this pump can only be used with one piston for low flow rates, with the two pistons whose stroke phases are shifted for larger flow rates, and with the two evenly and simultaneously moving pistons for very high pressures. Piston work. So you can let the machine body work as a simplex or duplex pump. Another control option is shown in dependencies 3 to 5. It saves all the control organs in the power piston and controls with the ball control as the main organ and with a slide-piston control as the secondary organ. The channels 17 go to the ball control: The channels 22 connect on both sides the channel 17 with the slide chamber 18. Channels 16 are outlet channels. In the slide position shown (right end, dposition), the compressed air flows through the. left control channel 17 on the piston. The left channel 16 is blocked from the exhaust 21 by the slide, the right channel 16 is connected to the right exhaust 2i by the slide 2o. As soon as I reverses the ball, the slide reverses; the same applies to the other side of the piston.
