Das Eigenthümliche dieser Dose besteht darin, dafs durch einen gegen den federnden
Rücken derselben ausgeübten Druck ein in der Dose angebrachter Schuh gehoben wird, durch
welchen ein Stück des Inhalts durch die im Deckel vorhandene Oeffnung nach oben getrieben
wird und aus der Dose zum Vorschein kommt, ohne dafs der Deckel derselben geöffnet
wird. Ein eigenthümlicher Mechanismus trägt dazu bei, dafs der ganze Inhalt der Dose
nach einander dem vorerwähnten Schuh zugeführt wird, so dafs eine Wiederholung des
Druckes gegen den Rücken der Dose das Anheben eines anderen Stückes vom Inhalt an

eines Streichholzes oder einer Cigarette entspricht und bewirkt, dafs von dem Schuh zur

die Schiene cc gedrängte Streichholz nach oben treibt und in dieser Lage vermöge der Wirkung
der Federn d dl festgehalten wird, so dafs es bequem erfafst und herausgenommen werden
kann. Läfst der Druck 'bei A nach, so treibt die Federkraft des Rückenmaterials bezw. die
