Jewellery ring, especially wedding ring Description:

The innovation relates to a decorative ring, in particular a wedding ring with a preferably closed ring body.

It is common for jewelry rings, wedding rings, and friendship rings to be placed next to each other on the finger in the shape of a hoop. These can be varied and supplemented, but do not form a common ring body.

The task of innovation is now to equip a jewelry ring with a replaceable and expandable ring body

To solve this problem, the jewelry ring, in particular the wedding ring according to the preamble of claim 1, is characterized according to the innovation in that the ring body has mainly angular ring grooves on one or both flanks, whereby the ring body can be plugged together with other ring bodies via corresponding ring grooves. The angular shape of the ring grooves is mutually undercut in cross-section and the edges are rounded.

As can be seen from the drawing, in the first embodiment according to Figures 1 and 2, a ring body is provided with ring grooves 2 on both sides on the outer edge of both flanks, which (1) thus has a T-shape. Furthermore, two ring bodies 3 are shown in an angular shape, each with a ring groove 4 on the inner edge of a flank, which (3) can be plugged onto and removed from the ring body 1 facing each other. As can be clearly seen in Figure, the ring grooves 2 and 3 have an angular shape in cross-section and are each undercut at 5 and rounded at the edges, whereby a snap effect with secure locking is achieved when plugged together and a knife edge that can be pressed in at 6 enables separation.

In Figure 3, a ring body 1 with ring grooves 2 on both sides with a T-shaped cross section is shown, corresponding to Figure 1. Ring bodies 7 with alternating ring grooves 8 in a Z shape are connected to this (1) on both sides and on the left side a ring body 3 with an inner ring groove 4 in an angular shape forms the end, while the right side is open for further connections.

Thus, for example, according to Fig. 1, the middle ring body 1 can be provided with a stone setting and the two side ring bodies 3 can be made of a different metal as end rings, as shown in section in Fig. 2. Further possibilities are then shown in Fig. 3, which leave open a variety of combinations.

Claims (5)

Protection claims: 1. Jewellery ring, especially wedding ring with preferably closed ring body, characterized in that the ring body has mainly angular ring grooves on one or both flanks, whereby the ring body can be plugged together with further ring bodies via corresponding ring grooves. 2. Jewellery ring according to claim 1, characterized in that the annular grooves are provided on one or both flanks on the inner or outer edge of the annular body. 3. Jewellery ring according to claim 1, characterized in that the annular grooves are provided on both flanks, either both on the inner or outer edge of the annular body. 4. Jewellery ring according to claim 1, characterized in that the annular grooves are provided on both flanks alternately on the inner and outer edge of the annular body. 5. Jewellery ring according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the angular shape of the ring grooves in cross-section are mutually undercut and the edges are rounded.
