Double-layer cardboard holding plate for the dust filter bag of a vacuum cleaner

The subject of the innovation concerns a double-layered cardboard half plate for the suction bag of a vacuum cleaner. ^It is provided with an opening for the suction connection and with a folding pocket which can be pressed into the opening as a bag holder, whereby the old flap consists of one piece with the holding plate, can be pivoted about a folding line on the flap in the closed or open position and has a further folding line at the free end for a locking tab which, in the closed position of the flap, engages behind the opening edge of the holding plate opening.

In the case of such a cardboard holding plate, as known from DE-AS 10 95 478 &iacgr;·- it is particularly important for

very stiff inelastic plate material a problem,

The arrangement of at least one further fold line as a predetermined bending point on the bag closure element in the area of the holding plate opening improves the elasticity of the rigid folding tab, so that on the one hand a flap tab can be pressed into the opening of the holding plate to secure the closure function without damage, with the front-end locking tab securing the closure position. On the other hand, due to the springback of the folding tab in the closure position resulting from the further fold line, an optimal dust-tight closure of the bag opening is achieved.

A cardboard blank, designated 1 in Figure 1, for a holding plate (2) for vacuum cleaner filter bags can be folded around a folded edge (3) in such a way that two plate halves (1a , 1b) are created, which can be glued together. Each plate half (1a, 1b) is provided with a punched-out opening (Aa, Ab), whereby these openings (Ag, Ab) form a common opening (5) (Fig. 2) for the vacuum cleaner's locking connector (not shown) when the blank (1) is folded together. At the same time,

the opening (5) as a storage inlet opening for the dust filter bag is then glued in a known manner on the underside (Figure ⁷ O on the finished holding plate H) . A folding flap (6) is also punched out of the cardboard blank (1), which serves as a bag closure element. This folding tab (6), which is designed according to the diameter of the opening (5), can be pressed into the opening (5) and can be pivoted about a folding line (7) on the finished holding plate (2) (Fig. ? . U) into the closed or open position. At the free end, the folding tab (6), which serves as a bag closure element, has a locking tab (8) which, when the tab is in the closed position, engages behind the opening edge of the holding plate opening (5) (Fig. A). So that the locking tab (R) can give way when pressed into the opening (5) of the holding plate (2), it has a fold line (9) running parallel to the fold line (7) of the holding plate.

To increase the elasticity of the folding tab (6) and to protect the cardboard from tearing when the folding tab (6) is pressed into the opening (5), a further folding line ( 10 ) is provided around the opening (5) of the holding plate (2).

The folding lines (9, 10) on the closure element are expediently implemented by material incisions, whereby the folding line (7) for the folding tab (6) on the holding plate (2) is designed in the form of a preferably slot-shaped perforation. This perforation of the folding line (7) is preferably implemented by open incisions (11) for better mobility of the dust bag closure.

As already mentioned, the two halves of the plate are glued together there, 1b) of the double-layered holding plate (2). A degradable adhesive is preferably used for this. The outside of the holding plate can be sealed with a paint-free coating to prevent warping.

The double-layered holding plate (2) according to the invention also has gripping elements (12) (Fig. 1 and 2) for easy insertion and removal of the dust filter bag from the vacuum cleaner. Furthermore, the opening (5) for the suction connection on the holding plate (2) is provided with a circumferential sealing projection (13), which is realized by differently selected opening diameters. The sealing projection (13) could also be designed in the form of a sealing groove in the manner of a sealing lip.

Double-layered cardboard holding plate for the dust filter bag of a vacuum cleaner, which is provided with an opening for the suction connection piece and with a folding tab that can be pressed into the opening as a bag closing element, whereby the folding tab is made of one piece with the holding plate in order to form a folding line on the holding plate in closed or open position and can be swivelled on the free end has a further fold line for a locking tab which, in the closed position of the tab, engages behind the opening edge of the holding plate opening, characterized in that that the folding tab (6) of the holding plate (2) provided with gripping elements (12) has at least one further folding line (10) between the folding lines (7, 9) on the holding plate (2) and the tab end, the further folding line (10) being provided in the region of the opening (5) of the holding plate (2). 2. Double-layered retaining plate according to claim 1, characterized in that the folding lines (9, 10) on the closure element (6) are realized by material cuts. 3. Double-layered retaining plate according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the folding line (7) for the folding tab (&oacgr;) on the holding plate (2) is designed in the form of a preferably slot-shaped perforation. Double-layer retaining plate according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterized, that the two plate halves (da, 1b) of the double-layered holding plate (2) are connected to one another by means of a degradable adhesive and that the overlapping openings (4a, 4b) in the two plate parts form a circumferential sealing projection (13) or a sealing embossing in the manner of a sealing lip. 6. Double-layered retaining plate according to one or more of claims 1 to 5, characterized, that the retaining plate (2) is sealed on the outside with a paint-free coating to prevent warping.
