The invention relates to a set for a sleeve, folding box or other outer carton for storing foodstuffs such as chocolates in strips or glass ampoules or ampoules that are to be individually packaged. Foodstuffs such as chocolates must have sufficient space between them in their packaging, as they can stick together if they touch. In the case of glass ampoules to be packaged in the medical or cosmetics industry, the glass ampoules must also not touch each other so that they cannot damage each other.

STATE OF THE ART

It is known to make such inserts from plastic material. The insert is produced by deep-drawing a plastic film. During deep-drawing, the film is plastically deformed, which creates the necessary webs between the parts to be stored later. These inserts fulfil their packaging purpose satisfactorily; however, they have the disadvantage that labelling such a plastic insert requires a not inconsiderable amount of effort. Due to the increasing importance of environmental protection today, the use of plastic or plastic material is proving to be increasingly problematic. For example, the PVC material used as a rule does not rot.

The cutting, punching, RHI or perforation lines are present in the insert in accordance with the part or parts to be packaged and the type of box. The flat insert can be cut either lengthways or subsequently from its two opposite sides. If the insert is to be placed in a folding box from which it is pushed out to varying degrees in order to remove the parts to be packed, its base area will sensibly be enclosed from all narrow sides, which will prevent the flat part from folding over. ■ If an insert is present in a box, the lid part of the box must be removed from the bottom part of the box in order to access the contents of the parts stored in the insert. Such an insert is not stored in the box. so that the wall parts of the box can also be used for lateral protection of the packaged parts. Such an insert therefore does not necessarily need to have a side frame on all four sides.

WAYS OF IMPLEMENTING THE INVENTION

The blank shown in Fig.-i consists of a flat, rectangular cardboard material, the four corners s 25 12, 14, 16, 18 of which are rounded.

In its one longitudinal extension L, the blank has 8 processing lines L1, L2a,b, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7a,b and L8 aligned parallel and spaced from one another. Some of these processing lines run in the longitudinal direction L across the entire blank 10, and some are only present in sections.

In detail, the processing lines are designed as follows:

To the right, a perforation and/or cutting line L5 and a rolling and/or cutting line L7a, b as well as a creasing and/or cutting line L8 follow the creasing line L4. The line L5 corresponds to the line L3, the line L7a, b to the line L2a, b and L8 to the line L1. Between the lines L5 and L8 there are cutting lines L30 which correspond to the cutting lines L10 to L24. From the line L7, the sections b are again located to the side of the perforation line L5 and the sections a are located in the other line areas L7.

The ampoules 26 can thus be held laterally immovably in the unfolded blank 10 (FIG. 2). This lateral support is not provided for the frontmost or rearmost ampoule 26 in the longitudinal direction L. There, the ampoule 26 is formed by the wall of a carton (not shown) in which the blank 10 is present.

This lateral holder for the front and rear ampoule 26 or the goods to be stored there is present in the blank 50 according to Fig. 3 and 4. This blank differs from the blank 10 in that that on its lower and upper narrow side in the longitudinal direction L there is a narrow wall area 52 which is connected to the base part 28 via a RHI line 54 (processing line L26)

on the side opposite the base part 28, a tab part 56 is attached in one piece via a processing line L28, which consists of straight incisions 58, U-shaped incisions 60 and grooved sections 62. The narrow wall area 52 can be folded upwards along the groove line 54, and the grooved section 56 can be folded over in the opposite pivoting direction along the processing line L28 (Fig. 4). As a result of this folding, a projection 64 protrudes upwards in the area of the U-shaped incisions 60. In the area of the tab part 56, a recess 66 is thus formed in front of this projection 64. A tab 72 is provided on the outer longitudinal wall region 46, separated laterally from the narrow wall region 52 by a cutting line 68, via a groove line 70 (guiding line L30). This tab has lateral projections 74 in plan view (Fig. 3).

When the blank 50 is unfolded, this tab 72 can be folded flat from the outside against the folded-up narrow wall area 52 (Fig. 4). The projection 74 on the tab 72 can then be pushed through the recess 66 from below. This allows the blank 50 with its folded-up narrow wall area 52 to be fixed in its upright position. By additionally gluing the tab 72 to the outside of the narrow wall area 52, this mutually upright position can be further stabilized.

Ampoules or the like stored in the blank 50 are 3G thus enclosed by all four sides so that they cannot fall out. Such a blank 50 is suitable for outer cartons such as folding boxes from which it is usually pushed out sideways.

Instead of the Ri11 lines L4, L6, there can also be embossed points on the floor surface in addition to or as an alternative to them. This makes it possible to simply

The blank 80 shown in Fig. 5 and 6 differs from the blank 10 or 50 in that in the blank 80 the cutting lines L10,1 to L24,1 are not continuously straight like the corresponding cutting lines L10 to L24 in the blanks 10» 50.

Thus, the cutting line L101 - and the same applies to the three cutting lines L24-.I - has a zig-zag cutting pattern. As a result, the areas 34a and 36a or 34b and 36b between the cutting lines are not the same size in the longitudinal direction L; the cutting line area L2b is therefore larger than the adjacent cutting line area L2a. The distances 34a and 34b are therefore trapezoidal.

The sections y and ζ of each cutting line L10,1 to L24,l delimiting the distances 36a in the longitudinal direction L are arranged at an obtuse angle to each other, so that the distance 36a widens in its middle region,

When the blank 80 is erected in its state shown in Fig. 6, the cutting lines in their area y and ζ form an opening 82 which widens in the middle area and corresponds to the diameter of the bottle neck 26b of the ampoule 28 is adapted; the bottle neck 26b is thus also held - in the drawing upwards - in a locking manner between the sections y and &zgr;,
