Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf ein formstabiles Fc/r^etui mit Innenpolster für großvolumige, langgestreckte Musikinstruments, insbesondere für Saiteninstrumente mit Korpus und Hals, bestehend aus einem der Form des Instrumentes angepaßten K^jten und einem an den einen Rand des Kastens auf- una zdklappbar angelenkten Deckel.The innovation relates to a dimensionally stable case with inner padding for large, elongated musical instruments, in particular for string instruments with a body and neck, consisting of a box adapted to the shape of the instrument and a lid hinged to one edge of the box that can be opened and closed.

Solcne Formetuis sind für kleinere Saiteninstrumente, wie Geige odei Bratsche bekamt. Die mit dem Gegenstand der Neuerung erzielbaren Vorteile sind vor allem darin zu sehen, daß mit dem neuen Formetui auch beim größten Saiteninstrument, dem Kontrabaß, für eine weiche, schonende Aufnahme im Formetui ohne die Gefahr des Verrutschens Sorge getragen ist und daß das Formetui auch für rauhen Transport (Flugtransport) geeignet ist und trotz äußerer Stoß-, Schlag- oder Rüttelbeanspruchung das Instrument schonend aufbewahrt bleibt. Das Formetui kann auch zur Aufbewahrung bzw. zum Iransport von Instrumenten dienen, die kleiner sind als der Kontrabaß, z.B. Cello, Elektrogitarre oder &Egr;-Baß. Das neue Formetui entfaltet seine besonderen Vorteile bei Saiteninstrumenten mit Korpus und Hals, weil gerade der Ubergangsbereich vom Korpus zum Hals besonders empfindlich ist und es auf die Formstabilität des Formetuis gerade auch in diesem Bereich sehr ankommt. Als Material für das Formetui hat sich glasfaserverstärkter Kunststoff (GFK), insbesondere Fiberglas-GFK, als besonders vorteilhaft erwiesen. Damit wird die untergreifende SchlieQkante beim Schließen des Deckels präzise geführt im Höchstfall bis zum Grund der Aufnahmekammer; Verklemmungen können nicht auftreten. Von dem dargestellten Transportrollen-Paar ist je eine Transportrolle 20a, 20b im Eckbereich des Deckels D bzw. Kastens K drehbar gelagert und schaut etwa zur Hälfte durch entsprechende Rechteckaussparungen 21 hervor. Aus Gründen des sicheren Transports werden nicht lenkbare Rollen bevorzugt. Figur 1 zeigt, daß die bei aufrechter Position bodenseitige Mantelwand 12.1 an ihrer Innenseite mit einer verstärkten Polsterung 15.1 und die Polsterung mit einem mittigen Schlitz 'J2C zur Aufnahme des Aufstellsporns 7 versehen sind. Figur 1 zeigt in Verbindung mit Figur 5, daß an mehreren Stellen des Formetuis FE versenkt ausschwenkbare Traggriffe Tl (Taillenbereich), T2 (kopfseitiger Halsbereich) und T3 (unterer bereich des Kastenbodens kA) angebracht sind. Aus Figur 1 entnimmt man, daß die beiden Traggriffe Tl sowohl an der Mantelwand 12 des Kastens K als auch gegenüberliegend und eng benachbart an der Mantelwand des Deckels D befestigt sind. Die umlaufende Schließkante des Kastens K ist mit 22k und diejenige des Deckels D mit 22d bezeichnet; Figur 6 zeigt einen Querschnitt. Daraus erkennt man, daß der Deckel D mit einer übergreifenden, urnlaufenden Schließkante 22d versehen ist, und in Verbindung mit Figur 1 ist ersichtlich, daß an mehreren über den Umfang der Schließkante 22 verteilten Stellen schräg nach innen abstehende Führungslaschen 24 angeordnet sind, welche zusammen mit der übergreifenden Schließkante 22d V-förmige Aufnahmekammern 25 für die untergreifende Schließkante 22k des Kastens K und damit einen Anschlag für diese bilden.
