The invention relates to a walk-in material container made of prefabricated components, - with a base plate, rear wall panel, two side wall panels, front wall panel with door, roof element and attachment device for a hoist, whereby the wall panels and the roof element are made of sheet metal and, if necessary, profile bars and whereby the wall panels are connected to one another with corner connection devices, - It goes without saying that the wall panels are also connected to the base plate and that the arrangement and design as a whole are such that the material container can be lifted and manipulated by crane, even when loaded or filled. This is also helped by the fact that the cover element has a frame in which the wall panels are enclosed and which stabilizes the wall panels.

In the known embodiment from which the invention is based (DE 28 53 251), the corner connections consist of, on the one hand, an S-shaped fold on a vertical edge of the wall panels, with the S-legs lying close together to form a gap, and, on the other hand, a flat flange that can be inserted into a gap in the S-shaped fold. Although this is sufficient with additional screw connections for connecting wall panels at the corners, it does not contribute much to the stability and structural strength of the material container as a whole. The attachment device for a lifting device consists of lugs that can be attached at a suitable point using screws.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the hollow posts have a square base and corresponding connection surfaces to the associated wall panels, whereby the wall panels have connection counter surfaces on the connection surfaces. The wall panels are usually designed as sheet metal panels which have stiffening profiles formed by bevels on their vertical edges, which can be hollow and to which the connection counter surfaces belong.

In the material container according to the invention, the connection devices for a hoist are attached to the hollow post. Even with large loads, additional tie rods are therefore not required. The connection devices for a hoist preferably consist of lugs with a crane hook eye at the free end, which rest against the hollow post with the other end and are attached to the hollow post with screws and, if necessary, shims. They can also be welded on.

According to the invention, special corner connection devices are used, which are designed as hollow posts in the manner described. These hollow posts are components that considerably increase the structural strength and stability of the material container, and in addition they allow the connection of attachments without difficulty.

The walk-in material container 1 shown in the figures consists of prefabricated components. The main components are a base plate 2, a rear wall panel 3, two side wall panels 4, a front wall panel 5 with door 6 and a roof element 7. Also essential are attachment devices 8 for a lifting device. The rear wall panel 3, the side wall panels 4 and the front wall panel 5 including the door 6 are made of sheet metal, preferably sheet steel. The front wall panel 5 is provided with a door 6, but it nevertheless has sufficient stability, especially since the door 6 is made of the same material.

Sheet metal profile is shaped like the front wall panel 5 as a whole. The base plate 2 can be provided with a frame. The same applies to the roof element 7. These frames generally consist of suitable profile bars. The wall panels are connected to one another with corner connecting devices 9.

From Fig. 3 it can be seen that the corner connection devices are designed as hollow posts 9, which are formed from sheet metal, connected to the base plate 2 and open to the interior of the material container. Post flanges 10 pointing in the direction of the adjoining walls 3 or 4 or 5 are connected to the open sides of the hollow posts 9. The associated wall panels 3 or 4 or 5 are connected to the post flanges 10 using screws 11. In the exemplary embodiment and according to the preferred embodiment of the invention, the hollow posts 9 have a square outline and connection surfaces 12 corresponding to the associated wall panels 3 or 4 or 5. The wall panels 3 or 4 rest against the connection surfaces 12 with connection counter surfaces 13. The wall panels 3, 4, 5 are designed as sheet metal panels which have stiffening profiles 14 formed by bevels on their vertical edges, to which the connecting counter surfaces 13 belong. Furthermore, the wall panels 3, 4, 5 are corrugated in the exemplary embodiment and preferably in a trapezoidal shape.

From Fig. 1 and 2 it can be seen that the connection devices 8 for a lifting device are attached to the hollow post 9.
