Zweckmäßig werden Flüssigkeiten verwendet, in die die betreffenden Schnittflächen eingetaucht wenden, die derart zusammengesetzt sind, daß sich der gewünschte Film sofort nach dem Austauchen in gehöriger Tiefe am Stengel und an .der Schnittfläche bildet. So können beispielsweise Kunststoffe mit Hinzugabe von Weichmachern und Beschleunigern verwendet werden; auch Gummilösungen, thermoplastische Massen eignen sich für dieses Tauchverfahren. Beispiel 312 Teile Polyvinylchlorid mit 15 Teilen eines geeigneten Phenolharzes werden zusammen mit 3 Teilen Trockenstoff, z.
