Description

Die Erfindung betrifft- ein- Brennstoffventil fürThe invention relates to a fuel valve for

Kraftfahrzeuge. - - . - -Motor vehicles. - -. - -

In motor vehicles, especially motorcycles, the fuel tank is made with a durable Level preferably attached to the frame, -. To. prevent engine vibrations adversely affect the tight closing of the needle valve of the container. The container must be in near the carburetor to avoid ίο malfunctions in the carburetor as a result of irregular Avoid draining the fuel.

It is a well-known drawback that there are sudden changes in speed when starting up or braking the fuel that is in the line between the food container for the Carburetor and the carburetor itself is, due to its inertia, often moves so that it either flows back into the container or "suddenly flows into the carburetor, causing irregularities in the running of the engine.

Die Zeichnung stellt ein Ventil nach der Erfindung schematisch und beispielsweise dar, und zwar zeigtThe invention provides a valve which is inserted into said connecting line and such sudden movements of fuel in this one Prevents conduction in both directions of flow. The drawing shows a valve according to the invention schematically and by way of example, namely shows

Abb. 3 ist ein Querschnitt nach ~Linie.A-A der Abb. 2;Fig. 3 is a cross-section along ~ line.AA of Fig. 2;

Fig. 4 is a longitudinal section similar to Fig. 2 showing the valve position during braking.

The container ι contains the fuel that feeds the carburetor 2. The valve 3 according to the invention is provided between the two, as can be seen from FIGS. 2 to 4, the valve 3 preferably consists of a disk-like flat part 4, the shaft 5 of which has a star-like cross-section (FIG. 3). The valve is displaceable in a chamber 6, which is adapted in diameter to the valve stem 5 and is connected to the channel 7 provided in the valve body. Channel 7 is located. in the extension of the short line 9, which leads out of the feed container 1. On the other hand, the chamber 6 of the valve is connected to the connecting line 10, which leads to the carburetor -2 . Two valve seats for the valve 4 are provided in the chamber 6. In ordinary working position the valve 4 is moved from the Brennstoffzufluß in • the manner that it assumes an intermediate position between the two valve seats and -beibehält, as shown in Fig. 2, so that as the j inner diameter of the chamber 6 is significantly greater than is the outer diameter of the valve disk 4, the fuel can flow freely into the line 10, wetting the peripheral edge of the valve 4.

'When the vehicle is braked, the valve disc 4 moves due to its inertia in Direction of the feed container 1 facing valve seat, so that there is the connection between the Line io and line 9 closes and prevents that fuel flows back from the carburetor via the line ίο into the container α (Fig. 4). When the vehicle accelerates, the movement of the valve disc 4 is reversed, i.e. H. she because of their inertia lies against the valve seat facing the carburetor, so that in in this case the connection between lines 9 and. 10 interrupted and prevented becomes that by inertia an excess of fuel ß- flows from the feed container 11 to the carburetor.

From this it can be seen that by means of the valve described, which is of simple construction and safe works, irregularities in the engine run excluded are.
