Längs der Spindelreihen eines Selfactors, einer Spinn- oder Zwirnmaschine werden in Höhe der Hals- und Fufslager der Spindeln quadratische oder rechteckige Hohlkörper s, z. B. aus dünnem Zinkblech gefalzt, angebracht, die an der den Spindellagern zugekehrten Seite, genau der Spindeltheilung entsprechend, mit kleinen konischen Röhrchen t versehen sind, welche letztere in angebohrte Löcher der Spindellager sich einführen.
