Neben obigen Anforderungen soll eine derartige Einrichtung noch die Eigenschaft haben, dafs sie sowohl bei der Füllung mit dem Schmiermittel, als auch bei der Bedienung der Maschine leicht und einfach zu behandeln ist. Die Erfindung bezieht sich nun auf eine Vorrichtung zum Oelen von Spindeln von Spinn-, Zwirn- oder Spulmaschinen mittelst eines vor den Spindeln gelagerten, mit OeI getränkten Filzbandes, und zwar besteht die Erfindung darin, dafs dieses Filzband bewesbar angeordnet ist. Das nachträgliche Befeuchten desselben mit OeI ist jederzeit durch die Schmierlöcher N möglich, ebenso wie es natürlich keinerlei Schwierigkeiten bietet, eine einzelne Spindel, bei welcher aus irgend einer Ursache ein Anlafs hierzu vorliegt, ohne jede Störung und während des Betriebes besonders zu ölen. Die Schmierung erfolgt, indem die Spindeln 5 an dem mit OeI getränkten Filzband stetig anliegen und so gefettet werden.
