in Arbeitsstellung angibt.
Device for aligning turning and cutting tools It is
known that the exact setting of turning and cutting tools @@,% 'generate the
Workpiece very precisely not only in the horizontal, but also in the vertical position
must be aligned is extremely difficult and time consuming
takes. To make the setting easier, the setting means have to be attached to the
Turning and cutting machines specially developed and large scales attached. Indeed
the setting with the help of these scales is still not accurate enough and also
time consuming. On the other hand, it is known to attach microscopes to workbenches,
a comparison of the workpiece, especially its profile lines, with a
the throat plate representing the nominal shape is permitted. When using one at the workbench
attachable microscope you can according to the invention the exact setting of the tool
effortlessly and in a short time if you put this microscope in front of the lens
an optical consisting of reflective and partially transparent mirrored surfaces
The system is arranged in such a way that the tool has both a frontal view and a profile
aib is formed. The number of reflective surfaces in the two is useful
Partial beam paths are so different that the two images are vertically reversed
lie. The tool is aligned so that the two images in a given
Position to be brought to each other.
If the exact setting
The height of the tool is not due to the special arrangement on the workbench
is given, but must first be determined, this is done with the help of a,
z. B. in place of the 'tool usable mark, the -the axis height of the tool
indicates in working position. The exact setting is made by moving the
Tool holder until the mark aligns with a characteristic curve in the eyepiece field
covers. The mark! Can also be attached to the tool holder outside the axis height
and are imaged by additional optical means in the eyepiece field where they
by moving the tool holder with a special identification mark in cover
is to be won. With these two described height adjustments of the tool
Precise alignment of the microscope according to the height of the workpiece was a prerequisite.
However, this exact height of the microscope need not be given if
namely a mark attached to the tool holder at the height of the tool axis
that is reflected in the image field of the microscope. The MA tool is in
in this case aligned so that the two tool images are in the eyepiece field
touch with the brand.
In the drawing, the invention is for example based on a
the gear hobbing machine operating shown, namely shows
Fig. I the milling machine with milling cutter and workpiece, Fig. - the same machine with
attached focusing microscope without workpiece, Fig. 3 and 4 the eyepiece image in front of and
after the setting process.
23 eingezeichnet. Die Beleuchtung findet durch das Lämpchen 24 statt. The workpiece 3 is screwed onto the spindle i. To the side of the
The workpiece is the milling cutter 2 attached to the holder 28. Alignment
of the milling cutter with thread profile ilg, the edge .des 2io and the chest surface 2ii takes place
in the horizontal direction through the dovetail guide 4, through the height
the guide 5 and perpendicular to the '1G' chuck spindle axis through the guide 6.
Finally, if necessary, the milling cutter can also be used in both the vertical and
also in the horizontal plane by means of the devices 23 and 26 provided
sway. The adjustment microscope 7 can also be aligned in a similar manner,
the adjustments are shown here by means of scales. The. Scale 8 there
the swivel position of the microscope in the vertical plane again, the scale g the height
and the scale io the windage. The microscope 7 consists in its optical
Part from the eyepiece ric, the objective 12, the intermediate, not shown,
the beam-deflecting prism as well as the prisms i'3 cemented to one another,
14 and, i5 are composed, mounted below the objective 12, ray-combining
System. In front of the Prisma-13 is the lens opposite the i6 brand
1.7 with prism 27. The common cemented surface of prisms 1.3 and 14 is semi-permeable
mirrored. The line mark iß and the crosshairs 22 and are in the eyepiece field
23 drawn. The light is provided by the lamp 24.
First, the microscope is adjusted to the target position of the workpiece
set in the horizontal and vertical directions using the scales g and ro.
Then the position of the microscope is adapted to the incline angle of the milling cutter,
by a corresponding pivoting around the horizontal axis with the help of the scale 8
is made.
The milling cutter 2 is now set, initially with regard to the exact axis height. This setting is achieved in that the mark i: 6 is imaged into the ocular image field via the objective 117 and the prisms 27 and 13. The height of the milling cutter is adjusted until the image of the mark 1t6 coincides with the line thickness of the line. The exact horizontal and lateral adjustment of the milling cutter is done with the aid of the crosshairs in the eyepiece field. The thread profile of the milling cutter is mapped via the prism 13. Via .the prisms 14 and; i5, on the other hand, the teeth ig arrive in the radial direction for illustration. The edge? Io of the thread profile appears as a line. The milling cutter is now moved horizontally and laterally through the adjustment devices at 6 and 4, if necessary also swiveled in a vertical or horizontal position, until the edge of the thread profile 2o shown as a line coincides with the line 22 of the crosshairs and the individual tooth tips of the profile picture touch this line. The tip of the central tooth of the thread profile ig must meet the center of the eyepiece field.
