Description
With centrifugal pumps, especially multi-stage pumps, with one-sided loaded impellers, horizontally lying shafts and ring lubrication bearings it is possible that when the sealing rings wear the automatically operating, hydraulic pressure compensation no longer works properly and consequently a Axial thrust on one or the other bearing arises, which for. the normal with a collar provided bearing shells then. is too large and causes the bearing to overheat. Ball thrust bearings have already been used for this purpose. These can be but for pumps that are coupled to other pumps, only remove them if the pump is completely dismantled while a ring lubrication bearing, because it is divided horizontally, after removing the bearing cover in the shortest possible time can be easily expanded. Segment block bearings that are lubricated by pressing oil can in most cases not used because press oil indicates the presence of a special oil pump is bound, which increase the production costs considerably would.
It is therefore proposed, in a known manner, with lubricating rings and wipers provided segment block bearings to use, but to improve the lubrication is designed in a special way to prevent the bearing from overheating definitely to prevent. For this purpose, the space in which the segment blocks lie, through one, between the pressure ring and an edge of this encompassing Bearing shell formed annular gap connected to the oil chamber of the bearing, the Wipers for the lubrication rings are designed as open tubes inserted in a lase, which partially completely enclose the lubricating rings with their lower end. That. from the lubricating rings guided through the scrapers into the space for the segment blocks Oil causes extensive lubrication of the thrust bearing; while the abundance of the Oil can flow back through the annular gap into the lower oil chamber of the bearing to be taken up again by the lubricating rings. In contrast to what is known So the new training brings about a good oil circulation, which ensures that the oil that has become hot can cool down, whereby the rib-shaped Akstreifer the effect is increased. In order to be able to lubricate the bearing sufficiently when starting up, the scrapers for the lubricating rings are designed as open tubes, so that oil can be refilled from above. Furthermore, the wipers enclose the cross section the lubricating rings from three sides so that sufficient oil can be pumped. In order to the fluctuating movement of the lubricating rings is not disturbed, are the wipers inserted loosely.
The invention is illustrated by way of example in the drawing.
Fig. i zeigt einen Längsschnitt und Fig. a einen Querschnittdes neuen Lagers.Fig. I shows a longitudinal section and Fig. A shows a cross section of the new one Camp.
As can be seen from Fig. I, the bearing has two lubricating rings a and is provided with lined up segment blocks. At the point where the oil rings a touch the shaft, wipers b are inserted in the upper bearing shell. These Wipers are cut out at the lower end so that they have the cross-section of the lubricating rings a and therefore can wipe the oil off the rings. The stripped oil passes through grooves c arranged in the upper bearing shell into the space in which the segment blocks h are located. The one attached to the shaft lies against this Pressure ring e. The flange of the pressure ring e is from the edge f of the upper bearing shell includes such that an annular gap d is formed between the two, through which the excess Oil can escape into the lower oil chamber of the bearing. In the upper bearing shell is in the space in which the segment blocks h lie, one up to the inner diameter the segment blocks lt reaching rib g provided. Through this the lubricating effect increased, since they eject the oil thrown off by the pressure ring e to the segment block bearing feeds.
The wipers b for the lubricating rings can be tubular so that after removing the vent plug i the lubricating rings when starting up, Oil can be supplied. Furthermore, the. Starting up the oil, from below through the Supports k are fed.
