Auf Grund des leichten Laufes der Rollen ist es dann in einfacher Weise möglich, das Band, die Bandsäge u. ä. bis zur gewürischten Länge abzuwickeln, ohne daß sich in irgendeiner Weise die Federkraft beim Abwickeln derart auswirkt, daß ein Herausschnellen oder Verhaspeln des Bandes auftreten kann. Die Bogenenden reichen in Richtung auf den Kreuzungspunkt der beiden Flachmaterialteile so weit einwärts, daß die volle Breite der aufgewickelten Rolle überdeckt ist und somit auch ein Herausspringen des inneren Endes, d. h. des Anfanges der Rolle, unterbunden ist.
