Die Bestandteile des neuen Rostes sind:The components of the new grate are:

Der Rechen ist mit nach oben in alle Rostspalten hineinreichenden Zähnen / versehen und mit einer Handstange g, die durch eine Führungsbahn η in der vorderen Rippe des Unterrahmens α nach aufserhalb geht, so dafs er durch deren Vorwärts- und Zurückschieben in den Seitenführungen waagerecht geführt wird und Rostspalten der Länge nach von ihnen bestrichen werden. Da die Rostplatte in der Längsrichtung etwas concav geformt ist, treten die Zähne / des Rechens in den beiden Endlagen nur eben durch die Rostspalten, während sie nach der Mitte zu, in Folge der waagerechten Führung des Rechens, immer stärker durch die Rostspalten hindurch ins Brennmaterial hineingreifen.
