According to a preferred embodiment, the folding folder according to the invention further comprises an at least two-part flap attached to the upper edge of the rear wall, with which the opening of the compartment can be closed and which can be placed at least against the front wall.

This flap can, for example, be made up of four parts. The dimensions of the four flap parts are chosen so that they cover the opening of the compartment, the front wall, the shutter base and the rear wall one after the other. Since the flap is placed completely around the compartment, no special flap closure is necessary. The camera is securely closed and the negatives and prints inside are protected from dirt. The flap also contributes to the stability of the compartment.

The end part of the flap can be covered by a transparent cover at least

The closure base can have a tab on the lower edge of the rear wall and a tab on the lower edge of each side wall, against which the closure base rests. Furthermore, the closure base can be folded out of the compartment. This has the advantage that the folding folder according to the invention can be folded flat and does not take up much space when stored empty.

An additional wall can be arranged in front of the front wall. This additional wall can be arranged in one embodiment on the outside of the fold and on each

A cutout forming a tab is preferably provided on the front wall of the compartment. This tab can be inserted into the compartment so that it forms a kind of latch. If the cutout is made on one of the side surfaces, the usable length of the compartment can be reduced over its entire depth or over part of it by folding down the tab. This simple measure makes it possible to accommodate prints of different sizes in the same folder. For example, the dimensions of the cutout can be selected so that when the tab is folded in, prints measuring 9 x 13 cm can be accommodated, and when the tab is folded up, those measuring 10 x 15 cm can be accommodated. The flap, which can be folded from the front wall to the rear wall, does not have to lie against the rear wall when it is swung in; it can also be placed in intermediate positions and, in particular, rest on the cover mentioned above in which the negative strips are housed.

It is also conceivable that the cut-out is formed approximately in the middle of the front wall ^3e , so that the folded-in flap divides the vehicle into two approximately equal-sized areas.

Another option for storing the negatives is if the end part of the flap has a cover that forms a pocket with this end part. This cover can also be made as one piece with the end part. It is advantageous if the cover has a slot that runs perpendicular to the pocket opening. This makes it easier to reach into this pocket.

In order to securely close the folding folder according to the invention, it has proven to be advantageous to provide the end part of the flap with at least one tab which engages in corresponding slot-shaped openings 5 in the front wall and the intermediate wall.

The flap part that is attached to the closure base can be a block designed as a writing field. If the folding folder according to the invention is to be used for storing photographs for a longer period of time, it can be set up like a book, the spine of which can be written on.

The folding folder according to the invention is preferably made of a stiff material with bending parts. Cardboard is particularly suitable, but other materials are also possible. 26

The folder consists of a front wall (1), two side walls (2, 3), a back wall (5), a closing base (4) and a four-part flap (6, 6e, 6b, 6c, 6d). Front wall (1), side walls (2, 3), back wall

Since the flap (6) completely encloses the compartment on the outside, it is sufficiently secured against accidental opening. There is therefore no need for an additional flap closure, which would be bulky and would be particularly disruptive if the folders according to the invention are to be arranged next to one another in the closed state, for example when they are placed one behind the other like a row of books. The folding folder according to the invention is not only suitable for transport, but also for storage.
