Die zweite Platte wird gleichfalls mit Farbe versehen, entweder gleichzeitig mit der ersten oder nachher, und diese zweite Platte erhält dann eine Oberfläche oder einen Ueberzug, vorzugsweise aus Gummi oder anderem dazu geeigneten Material, und die Zeichnung dieser zweiten Platte überträgt sich in Farbe auf die Gummifläche, welche ihrerseits auf die erstgenannte, in oben beschriebener Weise behandelte Platte gebracht wird, wobei die Zeichnung der zweiten Platte von der Gummifläche auf die Fläche der ersten oder Intaglioplatte übertragen wird, so dafs diese zweifach gefärbt ist und die Zeichnungen beider Platten trägt. Das Papier wird dann auf diese Platte gelegt und in gewöhnlicher Weise gedruckt.
