Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Pfannenstützimplantat der im 5 Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Art.
Derartige Pfannenstützimplantate dienen zum Ausgleich von Defekten im Pfannenboden und sind in gelochter sphärischer Form bekannt. Nachteilig ist dabei, daß sie bei stärkeren Defekten im Randbereich des Acetabulums nicht anwendbar sind.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, bei einem Pfannenstützimplantat der eingangs genannten Gattung eine Verbesserung dahingehend anzubringen, daß auch im Randbereich der Pfanne vorhandene Schädigungen ausreichend überbrückt werden.
Diese Aufgabe wird mit den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
Die Erfindung beruht auf der Erkenntnis, daß durch eine in einem Bogenbereich um das Acetabulum angepaßt umlaufende Gegenkrümmung die bevorzugt aus Titanblech bestehende Anordnung eine so hohe Steifigkeit erhält, daß sie die bei Belastung im implantierte« Zustand auftretenden Kräfte in benachbarte nicht geschädigte Knochenbereiche überleiten kann. Durch außerhalb dieser Krümmungslinie vorgesehene Schwächungsbereiche oder Lochungen ist die Form trotzdem verschiedenen Acetabuli weitgehend anpaßbar. müssen entsprechende Implantatformen vorrätig gehalten werden>
Bei vorteilhaften Weiterbildungen sind im sphärischen Bereich nach außen gerichtete trichterförmige Vertiefungen zur jeweiligen Aufnahme des Kopfes einer Knochenschraube vorgesehen, so daß das Implantat sicher befestigbar ist, ohne den Innenraum zur Aufnahme des Pfannenimplantats zu beeinträchtigen.

Bei dem in der Figur dargestellten aus gelochtem Titanblech bestehenden bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiel eines Pfannenstützimplantats ist ein sphärischer, dem natürlichen Acetabulum angepaßter Bereich 1 und ein an den sphärischen Bereich angrenzender rinnenartiger Bereich 2 mit
* entgegengesetzter Krümmung vorgesehen. Durch die entgegengesetzte dreidimenional verlaufende Krümmung, die sich - insbesondere im Randbereich - nicht in die Ebene abwickeln läßt, erhält das Implantat eine hohe Steifigkeit.

Weiterhin sind Lochungen 3 im sphärischen Bereich vorgesehen, welche nach außen gerichtete trichterförmige Vertiefungen 4 zur jeweiligen Aufnähme des Kopfes einer Knochenschraube aufweisen.

Das Implantat hat eine insgesamt halbmondförmige Form die einen Winkelbereich von ca. IiO0 umfaßt.
Im Übergangsbereich zwischen den beiden Krümmungen sind weiterhin einfache Lochuftgen 5 vorgesehen, zusätzlich ist im Randbereich des rinnenförrriigen Ansatzes 2 in der Nähe seiner Enden jeweils eine sich vom Rand her keilförmig verjüngende Aussparung 6 vorgesehen> Diese Lochungen 5 und Aussparungen 6 ermöglichen mittels eines entsprechen Werkzeugs eine Formanpassung an das individuelle Acetäbulum bzw. den vorgefundenen Defekt, ohne daß das Gösamtimplantat an Steifigkeit einbüßt.
Die Erfindung beschränkt sich in ihrer Ausführung nicht auf das vorstehend angegebene bevorzugte Ausführungsbeispiel. Vielmehr ist eine Anzahl von Varianten denkbar, welche von der dargestellten Lösung auch bei grundsätzlich anders gearteten Ausführungen Gebrauch machen.

  2. 2. Pfannenstützimplantat nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß die Lochungen (3) im sphärischen Bereich (1) nach außen gerichtete trichterförmige Vertiefungen (4) zur jeweiligen Aufnahme des Kopfes einer Knochenschraube aufweisen.
  3. 3. Pfannenstützimplantat nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus Titanblech besteht.
  4. 4. Pfannenstützimplantat nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rinne einen Winkelbereich zwischen 90° und 180° umfaßt.
  5. 5. Pfannenstützimplantat nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß sphärischer Bereich (1) und Rinne (2) insgesamt halbmondförmig ausgeboldet sind.
    6, Pfannenstützimplantat nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Übergangsbereich zwischen den beiden Krümmungen einfache Lochungen (5) vorgesehen sind.
