Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anzeigeeinheit mit einem optischen Anzeigeelement, z.B. einer Leuchtdiode, und einer rohrförmigen Halterung.The invention relates to a display unit with an optical display element, e.g. a light-emitting diode, and a tubular holder.

Derartige Anzeigeeinheiten sind an der Front- oder Bedienseite elektrischer Geräte vorgesehen und so aufgebaut, daß das Anzeigeelement in einer rohrförmigen Halterung aufgenommen ist, die ihrerseits in die Gerätefrontwand eingesetzt ist. Dabei ist das Anzeigeelement dann mit entsprechenden Verbindungsleitungen, z.B. mit dünnen Litzen, beispielsweise mit einer Grundplatine im Inneren des Gerätes elektrisch verbunden. Eine derartige freie Verdrahtung ist aufwendig und in der Fertigung kostenintensiv. Außerdem muß im Servicefall das Anzeigeelement elektrisch abgelöst, aus der Halterung herausgenommen, wieder eingebaut und angeschlossen werden. Diese Handgriffe sind in den meisten Fällen z.B. wegen beengter Einbauverhältnisse und/oder schwerer Zugänglichkeit der Anzeigeelemente aber nur sehr mühsam und schwierig durchzuführen.Such display units are provided on the front or operating side of electrical devices and are constructed in such a way that the display element is housed in a tubular holder, which in turn is inserted into the front wall of the device. Bei einer derartigen Anzeigeeinheit mit einem anstelle des Anzeiget'lementes in die Halterung eingesetzten "Leuchtstift" und bei elektrischer und mechanischer Zuordnung des Anzeigeelementes zu einer Leiterplatte ergibt sich ein besonders montage- und servicefreundlicher Aufbau. Dies bedeutet eine wesentliche Vereinfachung bei der Montage, da die Halterung mit dem Leuchtstift unabhängig von dem verwendeten Anzeigeelement bereits bei der Vormontage eingebaut werden kann und das Anzeigselement infolge seiner Zuordnung zu einer Leiterplatte mit dieser eine gesonderte, im Montagefall einfach anzubringende und im Servicefall problemlos aus einem Gerät herausnehmbare Einheit bildet. Außerdem entfällt eine freie Verdrahtung zwischen dem Anzeigeelement und einer Grundplatine im Inneren eines Gerätes, so daß dadurch die Fertigungskosten insgesamt gesenkt werden. Der Wegfall einer freien Verdrahtung ist insbesondere im Servicefall von besonderem Vorteil, da dann nicht erst die freie Verdrahtung vom Anzeigeelement abgelöst werden muß. Die Fig.l zeigt ein Gerät 1 mit Blick auf die Front- bzw. Bedienseite, z.B. einen für eine Funkgerätefamilie vorgesehenen Kommunikations-Prozessor, wobei das Gerät 1 an seiner Frontseite eine mit einem eigenen Verschluß abschließbare, kästchenartige Baugruppenaufnahme 2 für separate Baugruppen, z.B. für schnell zugängliche Schlüsselspeicher, und über etwa zwei Drittel seiner Breite ein großes Anzeige- und Bedienfeld aufweist, welches hier an einem separaten, von dem Gerät 1 absetzbaren Bediengerät 4 vorgesehen ist. Ein weiteres Anzeige- und Bedienfeld 5 ist noch an der Frontseite der Baugruppenaufnahme 2 vorgesehen. Dieses Anzeige- und Bedienfeld 5 enthält für die Baugruppenaufnahme 2 spezifische Anzeige- und Bedienelemente, wie einen Stecker 6, zwei Anzeigeeinheiten 7 zur Signalisierung von Betriebsarten und einen Drehschalter 8, wobei diese Anzeige- und Bedienelemente in der genannten Reihenfolge untereinander angeordnet sind. Die nähere Anordnung der Elemente 6 bis 8 des Anzeige- und Bedienfeldes sowie insbesondere der nähere Autbau der Anzeigeeinheiten 7 wird nun im folgenden anhand der Figuren 2 bis 5 beschrieben. Die Anzeigeeinheiten 7 sind gleich aufgebaut und bestehen jeweils aus einem optischen Anzeigeelement 9, z.B. einer mit zwei Anschlüssen 10 und 11 versehenen Leuchtdiode und aus einer rohrförmigen Halterung 12, die an der Frontwand 13 der Baugruppenaufnahme 2 gehaltert ist und den aus Fig.3 näher ersichtlichen Aufbau hat. liegendem Ansatz 15, Innenliegender Befestigungsmutter 16 und innenliegender endseitiger überwurfmutter 17 sowie zwei Dichtungen 18 und 19, Anstelle des Anzeigeelementes 9 ist nun ein z.B. zylindrischer, im Durchmesser zweimal abgesetzter und im folgenden als "Leuchtstift" bezeichneter Stift 20 aus glasklarem Material, z.B. aus Kunststoff, in die Fassung 14 eingesetzt. Der Leuchtstift 20 ragt mit seinen Enden etwas aus der Fassung 14 heraus und ist an seinen dem Lichteintritt und dem Lichtaustritt dienenden Stirnseiten flach ausgebildet und mit einer polierten Oberfläche versehen. Das Anzeigeelement 9 selbst ist nun von der Halterung 12 getrennt hinter dem Leuchtstift 20 angeordnet und elektrisch und mechanisch einer Leiterplatte 21 zugeordnet, indem es senkrecht zur Leiterplatte stehend mit seinen zwei Anschlüssen 10 und 11 in die Leiterplatte eingelötet ist. Diese Leiterplatte 21 trägt gleichzeitig den in der Frontwand 13 der Baugruppenaufnahme 2 fixierten Drehschalter 8 und ist über ein flexibles Leitungsstück 22 auch mit dem ebenfalls in der Frontwand 13 fixierten Stecker 6 verbunden. Außerdem ist die Leiterplatte noch mit einem weiteren flexiblen Leitungsstück 23, z.B. einem Bandkabel und mit einem Stecker 24 zur elektrischen Verbindung mit einer Grundplatine 25 im Geräteinneren für die Gerätebaugruppen 26 versehen. Damit stellt die Leiterplatte 21 mit den optischen Anzeigeelementen 9, dem Drehschalter 8 und dem Stecker 6 eine selbständige, separate Baugruppe dar, die in den Figuren 4 und 5 für sich gezeigt ist, durch die Fixierung des Steckers 6 und des Drehschalters 8 an der Frontwand 13 mechanisch in der Baugruppenaufnahme 2 gehaltert ist und nach den Lösen dieser mechanischen Fixierungen im Servicefall ohne weiteres aus der Baugruppenaufnahme herausnehmbar ist.lying projection 15, internal fastening nut 16 and internal end-side union nut 17 as well as two seals 18 and 19.
