Purpose:

The invention relates to a console scaffold that makes it possible to erect a work platform on ladders at any desired height.

Description:

The platform (i; is a rigid, non-detachable unit with the railing support tubes (2,3) the support tube (4) and the upper rung holder (5). The upper part of the scaffold support (6) is pivotally mounted in the railing holder tube (2). The lower part of the scaffold support (7) with the lower rung holder (8) is inserted into the upper part of the scaffold support (6). The desired insertion length is fixed by pinning with a machine screw (9) which is secured with a nut (10).

The entire unit is built on two parallel lean-to ladders and the rung holders (5,8) are pushed over the ladder rungs. To prevent the bracket scaffold from being accidentally lifted out of the ladder rungs, clips (11,12) (Fig. 2) are pushed through the holes (13) of the rung holders (5,8) under the ladder rungs. The shape of the clips (11,12) prevents them from coming loose. The clips (11,12) are permanently attached to the bracket scaffold by chains (14). The rear railing (15 - 19) is inserted into the railing holders (2) without any additional fastening means (Fig. 4).
