The innovation concerns «a protective combination for protecting» outdoor plants / flowers in troughs and pots against:

Sun-cold-rain-wind. The innovation concerns a protection combination made of translucent plastic, whereby the individual slats/segments are attached to a standpipe thanks to the special arrangement and can be extended or pushed together in a circle. The innovation can optionally be equipped with a light source at the upper end of the standpipe.

Various "ohut" devices have been described that are made of unstable materials. The disadvantage of these devices is that they are not sturdy and tear-resistant. They can only be removed with difficulty, are bulky and not durable.

The innovation is based on the task of increasing protection by allowing the individual slats to slide over each other.

The innovation is impact-resistant, stable and extremely durable. Therefore, the innovation can be used again and again over a long period of time.

The innovation offers the possibility of extending the daylight phases using an attachable, VDE-tested light source at the upper end of the standpipe. The innovation also offers the possibility of positively influencing plant growth.

Furthermore, the innovation offers the possibility of creating a good visual effect at the desired location thanks to the environmentally friendly colouring of the protective screen.

The individual segments of the innovation have lateral up and down edges. This means that the protective device can be quickly extended to form a circular screen (1) or pushed down to the size of a segment (4).

Assembling and disassembling the new device requires no physical effort. This means that the protective device can also be used by older people and children.

The innovation further solves the tasks set by the fact that the support element (2) is made of rust-proof material and is designed like a telescope. This makes the innovation height-adjustable (2) and the distance between the protective screen and the plants

can be continuously adjusted.

The telescopic design of the carrier element (2) offers the innovation good stability, since a tip (5) is attached to the lower end. The innovation can thus be easily inserted into the vessel to be protected.

"By installing an electrically operated light (3), the innovation not only meets the requirement of extending daylight phases, but at the same time it provides an outdoor or garden light.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the innovation, the slats/segments (4) of the protective screen are sized so that their length and width are adapted to the standard dimensions of plant pots and troughs.
