Description

Method of increasing the yield of crops A method to increase the yield of cultivated plants using soil bacteria suggests that the seeds should be prepared before sowing or the young plants Their planting out will be treated with different, selected ones, each one for itself Species of soil bacteria grown in pure cultures on high-performance and with such Fungi and algae that live in symbiosis with the selected soil bacteria. in the After this process, bacteria, fungi and algae become such active ingredients added to the growth and activity of said microflora exert promotional influence. This method is primarily suitable for them Soils in which the required microflora is not available in sufficient quantities is. The present invention represents a modification of the aforementioned method represent for those cases in which an investigation of the soil has shown that it the necessary microflora is not lacking. According to the invention, if it is a such soil is the seed before sowing or the young plants their planting out treated exclusively with a mixture of such active substances, those on the growth and activity of the microflora of the adolescent in question Plant surrounding soil exert a beneficial influence. Is that aat-`gu -von To treat legumes, only their specific bacterial agents are used added.

These active ingredients stimulate the growth of microflora in the soil and above all increase theirs Activity. For example are Nitrate formers in the soil are able to convert nitrites into nitrates to a greater extent and thereby produce the nitrogen for the plant in an absorbable form. Cellulose decomposer are enabled to form more humus and the like more. Such substances that affect the activity The soil microflora have a beneficial influence, mainly in the vitamins A, D and E found, also in certain amino acids, such as glutamic acid, and in Germ extracts. Animal hormones, e.g. B. Insulin, were found to be activators. The addition of molybdenum salts also proved to be well suited.

This treatment can also be applied to such seeds or such young ones Subjugate plantlets that previously or simultaneously in a known manner with cell division or Cell elongation hormones or both have been treated. The method can according to the invention can also be applied in such a way that the seeds with solutions of the above Mixtures of substances is wetted.
