dessen Durchgang zwei einander parallele Flächen aufweist, deren Abstand geringer

There are already push buttons made of plastic known, in which, however, due to a special design, the recessed part is given a special resilience. The recesses, incisions or the like provided there for this purpose lead to a cumbersome and expensive structure. In contrast, with the new push button made of plastic, the male part consists of a stem button that sits on a base plate, while the nut part consists of a ring, the passage of which has two parallel surfaces, the distance between which is less than the head diameter of the stem button. A ring designed in this way has sufficient resilience to be able to press it over the handle button. In the case of larger button designs, the ring can also be slotted, and for sewing on the ring is expediently provided with grooves and through bores extending from these. The ring can also consist of two concentric sections with different thicknesses, which are firmly connected to one another and the outer ring part is modified and accommodates the fastening holes. This results in a simple button shape that is easy to manufacture and no longer requires any additional processing. The new training is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. It shows Fig. I in view and in section along line xx an embodiment of the nut part, Fig. 2 in view and the section along line yy the male part, Fig. 3 a diagram of the two parts, Fig: q: and 5 a second embodiment wherein the nut member is formed of a closed ring, a training that is possible depending on the composition of the material and that of the two parts results without affecting the light association and solubility to a better clamping than with the use of a closed ring , Fig. q. a view or a section along line zz through the button lower part again and Fig. 5 in the diagram the push button in the open state, Fig. 6 a third embodiment of the lower part in = view and in.
In the various representations, the reference symbol i is a
Understood ring made of synthetic resin molding, which forms the lower part of a push button,
and with the reference numeral 2 the passage through the ring i, so that the ring i, 2
can act as a spring member when connecting and loosening the snap fastener parts.
The ring i is provided with grooves 3 in which holes q. for the implementation of the
Sewing thread are arranged. The passage through the ring is not circular, but
provided with two opposite flats 5, which in the constriction

Head worn by a plate 8 7.- The button top is thus only between
two opposing surfaces held, whereby the merger and
loosening of the parts is made easier. The receiving the holes 4 for the sewing thread ii
Edge 9 is offset from the middle part io (Fig. 6 to 8).
Abb. i.
i vorgesehenen Nuten.
The modification shown in Figs. 6 to 8 has the purpose; at
Buttons of the same dimensions to keep the closing force different,
in order to be able to adapt them to the individual purposes of use. To that end is
the lower part of the push button not as a single ring, but of two against each other
stepped rings formed with the outer ring maintaining the same thickness,
while the inner ring has different strengths depending on the desired retention capacity
may have. This push button can then not only be used on items of clothing, but also
be used for other purposes, for example on tarpaulins on car bodies. at
These applications must be the connection of the lower part with the receiving it
Body be much stronger than in the case of attachment to clothing. For this
are the holes provided for the passage of the threads according to Figs. 1 to 4
arranged according to Fig. 6 to 8 in the outer ring 9; and the inner ring has one
greater strength, so that the threads guided over the edge of the outer ring initiate
of the upper part into the lower part. This advantage arises
especially from the illustration according to Fig. 7. The one around the edge of the outer ring
guided threads give a far better attachment of the lower part to the receiving
Body than when guiding the threads in a groove of the unitary ring
Fig.i. The difference in the strength of the outer ring part 9 and the inner ring part
gives the opportunity to lead the thread over the edge of the ring without
this comes to rest on the button top, and the items shown in Fig.
i provided grooves. In addition, the button can largely be used in practice
can be modified and also made from different materials. Below
it should be understood that any other mass is used instead of synthetic resin
that has the required elasticity. The top and bottom of the button
or, the outer and the inner ring belt of the lower part can be considered more uniform
