Insbesondere sollen
baulich komplizierte Formteile nach Mög-
lichkeit vermieden werden.Universal joint connection, in particular for the cardan joint of motor vehicles The invention relates to a universal joint joint, in particular for the cardan shafts of motor vehicles, and aims to make the joint joint connection as simple, cheap and durable as possible. In particular, structurally complex moldings are to be avoided as far as friendliness possibility.
The invention consists in that of the two pin parts of the one
preferably having a cylindrical shape and with one as a lubricant channel
leading bore provided pin part in the closed eyes of a fork of the
associated, articulated part is inserted, while the other, also
provided with a lubricant channel pin part in two opposite one another
Eyes engages, consisting of a fork part of the hinged part and one on this
mounted bearing cap are formed, while the axial locking and the
immediate storage of the pin parts in their associated eyes by preferably
made of pressed material bearing bushes, which are made by means of spring washers
are kept in their working position and in turn in associated ring joints
the bearing eyes are embedded and at the same time as a seal against the outlet
of the lubricant are used, while the other sides of the bearing eyes are inserted through
Sealing rings are sealed as rubber rings pressing against the bearing journals
are used or designed resilient that the lubricant at a
occurring overpressure on the inside of the universal joint connection can escape.

In detail, Fig. I shows the joint in section along line II of Fig. 3, Fig. 2, a section along line II-II of Fig. I, - -Fig. 3 shows a section along the line III-III from Fig. I and Fig. 4 shows a detail IV from Fig. 3 on a larger scale.
lb Zwei einander Gegenübern liegende Augen?" 2 bilden. In diesen ruhen an
Spalten, z.
14 ganz entbehrlich. In the chosen embodiment example, the cardan shaft end i facing the universal joint is designed as a fork, the prongs of which generally form, together with the lid supports lb, two opposing eyes ? " 2. In these, closed compressed material bushings 3, 3 rest at their outer ends sleeves 3 are pushed onto the end tang 4, 4 of a cross bar member 5 and are of Tellerf springs 6, 6 loaded, the hold. the cross bar 5 in a mitAeren axial operating position. the spring plate 6 'are formed as a full corrugated plates and in ring groove 7, 7 of the bearing eyes 2, 2 embedded. They also serve as a seal against the escape of lubricant to the outer bearing eye sides. So inner bearing eyes seals. are provided by coil springs 8 pressed against the pin 4 seal rings 9. These rings, one of which with reference to Figure 3 in Fig. 4 is drawn out for itself, are used in such a way that when in the Gefü with lubricant Old rooms and columns, e.g. B. in the Schrnierspalt io and annular space ii according to Fig. 4 an overpressure occurs due to the replenishment effect of the grease gun - or due to a rise in temperature, the lubricant lifts the rubber lip (? A of the ring 9 and emerges against the inside (fe # universal joint connection. It may be sufficient to use the previously known rubber rings with an inner sealing lip, conversely, as it has hitherto been customary to use the Schmiernüttel flows through a central bore 1:.. 2 - the cross beam 5 the bearing points on the pins 4, 4 to through the cross beam 5 a second cross-beam 13 is transversely therethrough plugged This has a cylindrical exterior. Shape and has a longitudinal bore 12, which also serves as a lubricant channel. The journal part 13 is, like the journal part 4, mounted in compression bushes 14, 14, and these bushes, like the bushes 3, are loaded by spring plates 15 through which both these Bushings as well as the cross bar part 13 are held in a central working position a pivot flange 17 is used. In addition, the two cross bar parts 5 and 13 are prevented from mutual axial displacement by a screw bolt 18. The lubricant flows to the S-chiniermittelkanal in the crossbar part 5 through an annular channel ig and the lubricant channel 1: 2 in the crossbar part 13 through cross bores.2o. The introduction of the lubricant into the articulation cross 5, 13 takes place #. B. by means of a grease gun, which is attached to a grease nipple 2 # i (Fig. 3). The grease nipple 2 # i sits in a spring plate: 22-, which is inserted into an opening 2 # 3 in the middle of the cross beam 5 . Furthermore, there are also sealing rings on the inner sides of the AÜgen 16. 9 vorgesehm If the lubricant in these sealing rings, it is urged by the centrifugal force again against the bearing points out. Due to the cylindrical shape of the cross bar 13 and the manufacture of the pivot cross from two cross beam parts 5 and 13 nested in one another, the construction of the universal joint is extremely simple, inexpensive and yet the required reliability is guaranteed. In addition, the lubrication of the universal joint from the inside is advantageous because the centrifugal force that occurs causes the lubricant to migrate outwards against the actual bearing points (Fig. 4). Instead of pressed material, bearing bushes 3 and 14 made of a different material can also be used within the scope of the invention. With a suitable choice of the cross beam and bearing material, the bushings 3 and. 14 completely dispensable.
