Puzzle game

The invention relates to a puzzle game that can be used in particular as an aid for developing logical thinking, spatial imagination, comprehension and for entertainment.

In known assembly games, the teaching and play value is limited and the complexity of the disassembly and assembly process of the spatial figure is reduced by the small number of strips and the elements formed therein.

For example, FR-A-2094844 also discloses a game of assembly with six strips that have a square cross-section, with at least five of them having grooves in the middle and projections in the grooves of some of the strips. The strips are put together to form a three-dimensional figure, and the small number of strips makes assembly very simple, thus reducing the entertainment value of the game.

Another assembly game is known (SÜ-Ä-1146070), which contains at least two identical sets of strips with a square cross-section. Each set comprises six strips, five of which have grooves in the middle part and projections in the grooves of some strips. The entertainment value is increased by several sets of strips, but

Furthermore, an assembly game is known from US-A-2 836 421, which contains at least one set of strips with a square cross-section, which are grouped into blocks with two strips each, which are arranged in three mutually perpendicular planes. The assembly game represents a spatial figure 1 (Fig. 1) containing eighteen strips 2 to 19 of equal length with a square cross-section, which are grouped into blocks arranged in three mutually perpendicular planes.

The strip 2 (Fig. 2a) is a key strip and has a groove 20 in its central part which limits the length of its longitudinal displacement in the assembled spatial figure 1 (Fig. 1) by interacting with the strips 16, 17 (Fig. 3, 4, 5, 6). Two grooves 21, 22 (Fig. 2a) are machined in planes perpendicular to the plane of the groove 20 and interact with the strip 3 (Fig. 6) or 6 when disassembling and assembling the figure 1 (Fig. 1).

The strip 3 (Fig. 2b) has a groove 23 which, in the assembled figure 1 (Fig. 1), interacts with the key strip 2 (Fig. 3, 4, 5).

The strips 14, 15 (Fig. 2h) have grooves 36 to 40 and projections 41, 42, 43. The groove 36 of the strip 14 interacts in the assembled figure 1 (Fig. 1) with the strip 3; the groove 37 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 41 with the strip 8 (Fig. 2g) and the groove 38 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 42 with the strip 10 (Fig. 2g); the groove 39 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 43 with the strip 16 (Fig. 2i), the groove 40 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 43 with the strip 17 (Fig. 2i).

The groove 36 (Fig. 2h) of the strip 15 interacts in the assembled Figure 1 (Fig. 1 ) with the strip 6; the groove 37 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 41 with the strip 11 (Fig. 2g); the groove 38 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 42 with the strip 9 (Fig. 21); the groove 39 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 43 with the strip 17 (Fig. 2i); the groove 40 (Fig. 2h) and the projection 43 with the strip 16 (Fig. 2i).

The strips 16, 17 have grooves 44, 45. The groove 44 of the strips 16, 17 interacts in the assembled Figure 1 (Fig. 1) with the strips 3, 6 and the projection 43 (Fig. 2h) of the strips 14, 15. The groove 45 (Fig. 2i) of the strips 16, 17 interacts in the assembled Figure 1 (Fig* 1) with the strips 5, 18, 19.

The strip 18 (Fig. 2k) contains a groove 46 and a projection 47 which interact with the strip 9 in Figure 1 (Fig. 1); a groove 48 (Fig. 2k) and a projection 49 which interact with the strip 11 (Fig. 2g); a groove 50 (Fig. 2k) which interacts with the strip 6 (Fig. 2e) and a groove 51 (Fig. 2g) which interacts with the strip 4 (Fig. 2c).

To increase the playing and teaching value, the assembly game can contain several sets of strips 2 to 19, from
where you can create different variants of one or several spatial figures 1 each with eighteen strips in

The key strip 2 (Fig. 2a) can also have grooves or projections of different shapes and sizes.

The groove 20 of the key bar 2, which limits the length of the longitudinal displacement, is larger than the width of the bars 16, 17 arranged therein (Fig. 3, 4, 5, 6). However, this design is not mandatory. In other variants of the assembly game, the groove 20 of the key bar 2, which limits the length of the longitudinal displacement, can be designed differently. The length of the groove 20 can, however, be smaller, but must, for example, exceed the width of the projection of a bar arranged in the groove 20 and perpendicular to the key bar 2, or this length can be larger and, for example, exceed the total width of three bars arranged in the groove 20 and perpendicular to the key bar 2.

The game is played by sequentially disassembling and assembling the spatial figure 1 (Fig. 1) of the assembly game.

In order to disassemble the spatial figure 1 of the assembly game, one must first move the key bar 2 along its longitudinal axis from the position it occupies in the assembled spatial figure 1, using the groove 20, the length of which exceeds the total width of the bars 16, 17 arranged therein. Figs. 3 to 6 show possible positions of the key bar 2 in the assembled spatial figure 1 (Fig. 1), but some of the bars are not shown in order to show the interaction of the key bar 2 (Figs. 3, 4, 5, 6) with the bars 3, 16, 17.

The key list 2 (Fig. 3) is pushed along its longitudinal axis out of the assembled position, but not into a possible end position (Fig. 4, 5), but into a specific position (Fig. 6, 7) in which the groove 23 (Fig. 6) of the strip 3 comes out of engagement with the key strip 2. To do this, the groove 21 of the key strip 2 is superposed with the groove 23 of the strip 3, and then the strip 3 (Fig. 6, 8) is pulled out of Figure 1. In all other positions of the key strip 2, the strip 3 cannot be pulled out.

The key strip 2 is pushed outward along its longitudinal axis into engagement with the groove 29 (Fig. 2e) of the strip 6, whereby the groove 22 (Fig. 2ä) of the key strip 2 is superposed with the groove 29 (Fig. 10). Then the strip 6 (Fig. 11) is pulled out. Then the strip 7 (Fig. 12) is pulled out and the strips 8, 9, 10/ 11 (Fig _{. 4} 13) are moved as far as they will go. Then the strips 12, 13 (Fig. 14), the strips 14, 15 (Fig. 15), the key strip 2 (Fig. 16), the strips 16, 17 (Fig. 17) are pulled out of the spatial figure 1 in sequence and the remaining strips 8 to 11 and 18, 19 (Fig. 18) are pushed apart.

The assembly of figure 1 (Fig. 1) is carried out in reverse order.

For other variants of the assembly game, the assembly and disassembly sequence may vary slightly.

By constructing the spatial figure 1 (Fig. 1) from eighteen strips 2 to 19, which are grouped into blocks of six in each coordinate direction, a significant complication of the assembly process of the spatial figure 1 is achieved.

Since the groove 20 in the key bar 2 (Fig. 2) limits its longitudinal displacement, a considerable complication of the decomposition of the spatial figure 1 (Fig. 1) is achieved, because it is visually impossible to determine in
