The invention relates to a hand-held device for cleaning smooth surfaces, in particular glass panes, with a flat box-shaped cleaning head carrying a sponge body and/or bristles and a handle detachably attached thereto, forming a liquid container.

The object of the invention is to improve a hand-held device constructed according to the state of the art mentioned at the beginning in such a way that, in addition to the cleaning effect provided by the sponge body and the bristles, it simultaneously enables a wiping effect for wiping off liquid adhering to the surface to be cleaned.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1, whereby the design features listed in subclaims 2, 3, 8 represent advantageous further developments of this solution to the problem.

Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to attach the sponge body and the bristles to the cleaning head in a simple manner in a secure and replaceable manner, which is achieved by the features of claims 1 to 7.

The subject matter of the invention extends not only to the features of the individual claims, but also to their combination.

In addition to the cleaning effect provided by the sponge body and the bristles, the hand-held device according to the invention also enables a wiping effect through the molded wiping edge on the cleaning head, with which the liquid adhering to the surface to be cleaned can be easily wiped off.

Furthermore, the sponge body and the bristles are attached to the cleaning head in a simple and safe manner so that they can be replaced inexpensively when they become worn.
